WALOB, in the 80s we broke the British transfer record to buy Gazza and were regularly one of the big spending clubs.

P.S. This is a fans forum not the Spurs equivalent of Venezuela where dissent isn't tolerated.

Well Said!!! this is meant to be a forum but getting so fed up when you criticise you are accused of not being a fan.... I was at Wembley in 91 when we lifted our last major trophy.... and it is sad that we cant criticise this dreadful summers window without getting spammed.... everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I just want to see my club back where they belong and that is not finishing top 4, it is winning trophies. That is what keeps the players.

Kane may stay forever as he is a true Spurs but we will lose Alli next summer 100% if we don't start showing some commitment to him

I think the reason peeps are so frustrated and un trusting of Thfc/Levy is because we have this most windows.
Get linked with big signings, they were never gonna happen.
We then get linked with so called realistic targets who we apparently want and also need.
To then get to the end of the window with either no one or players not up to it.
This window feels exactly the same hence while peeps can sense it all happening again. And we will drop away from the top teams soon if it happens again. That's for sure

If we don't improve our squad and splash a bit of cash in the hope of winning something. We drop away from where we are and have been the last few seasons and where we are on the cusp of some greatness.

If your ok with that, then that's cool.
But you can't slam others for seeing this and wanting that bit more when it's quite realistic to want that and also achievable.

Really ? We sold a RB for £50m his replacement is crocked and the manager says his young understudy isn't ready yet. Meanwhile we are still "considering" every RB with 2 legs.

I get that Poch wanted to assess our academy players in the US but once he had decided they weren't ready we needed to get cracking and at a minimum replace the player we sold.

According to ITK we know the targets, and they haven't changed. So have no idea what you're on about.
