If Shaw wasn't such a beast under Poch I'd agree with you. But Shaw and Davies as LBs and Martial in our attacking line up means I wouldn't miss Rose at all.

If Rose has kicked up a fuss in hope of forcing a move, and we end up selling for cash alone, we'll look weaker for it, as we can't seem to spend the Walker money.
Now, if we sold Rose for Martial and Shaw, suddenly that looks a calculated bit of business to me, not that we've been forced into selling an unhappy player.

Nah, I reckon we.are looking at the Ajax player so that Dier can play in midfield again. Think Poch will rotate Dier and Wanyama more this season to ensure freshness

Shaw under Poch is a different beast to Shaw under Mourinho. Injuries, yes, but mismanaged also. Poch has a track record for getting his fullbacks onto another level.
Shaw, Clyne and Chambers at Saints, Walker, Rose, Davies and Trippier with us, all showed vastly improved form under Poch.

This feels a bit like last window when we were linked with Isco and ended up with Sissoko. Instead, this year we will try to get Martial but end up with someone like Josh King.

To be honest, I'd be happy with just martial for rose. Davies was outstanding last 10 games of the season

This and Balde are why the internet is a ****. No one would be any wiser when this doesn't happen but instead, everyone will get their hopes up for a day or two then come crashing down when they realise Utd would never sell a good young player to us. Would love to be wrong but I guess it's all part of the fun during the window!

Don't know Martials contract situation but based on what he's done in the Prem so far, he's not a 50 million pound player, albeit he's very talented. But in this market he's still going to be worth a lot and United paid what, 57 million for him?
Rose is the best Left back in the league.
