I am ok with that. I like Rose and all, but he has seriously pissed me off by being a douche and trying to stir the pot. I think RS has huge potential and would absolutely thrive immediately at Spurs. Call me an optimistic though.

I do understand why you feel like that. However, remember he has been injured for 5 - 6 months, missed the finish to the best season we have had for over 50 years and he doesn't know when he will play again. Under such circumstances it is understandable that he may get a bit down and say things that he hasn't really thought through. He may also have realised how close were are to breaking through the barrier to become a truly world class club. We have such a young squad yet have finished 3rd then 2nd. We just need to sign a few players for the right positions and we will get there.
The signing we have made tonight, and the indications are that there will be more of the same ilk, should make him realize that we will serious challenge over the next number of years and that Spurs is where he needs to be.
