Maybe as poor as I have seen Wanyama play. He lost then all too many times. Thought Poch made a mistake keeping him on though of course Dier was on yellow

Look at the "game changers" Chelski; Manx and shitty have on their benches. I love Son, but we need a few different set ways of playing. Although, I do concede we did give them the victory
Looking for an excuse? We didn't need any "game changers" on the field for this match. The 1st eleven today were more than capable and had the opportunity to have won this match outright.

I love Wanyama but he looked a bit off the pace today. I was hoping it would be him and not Dier that Son replaced

Let's just smash Burnley next week and it'll be looking okay again. Points-wise that would be a better start than last season. Pair that with a few signings (Aurier and Barkley) and we'll be a lot happier.
I'm not sure Aurier is what we need really, to make the difference in this type of game

Look fair play to the guy, he's almost made me admit I'm wrong about him with his run of games at the end of last season, but seriously we can't have Davies playing all season at Wembley - we need someone pinned high and wide on that left touch line who can attack space. Hurry back Rose.
I totally agree. He just does not have the pace or the instinct to push on in the way that we need. He constantly cuts inside and puts under pressure due to his reluctance to go forward. We miss rose massively.

That was poor. We probably didn't deserve to lose but we definitely didn't deserve to win. No ambition. No change of ideas. Why bring on Son and make him defend? Really disappointing. We need to invest in pace.

I think that is harsh. They parked the bus and offered very little in attack. We just weren't clinical enough in and around their area but they also defended very well. On another day though one or two of our attempts would go in.

Created nothing and deserved nothing. Looked nervous from the start.
Hit the post twice, had two great free kicks one of which teased all the way across goal and the other went in, Kane alone had four chances that on a non-August day you'd bet him to score, including a header from Davies' corner that is absolutely massive but he just glances it. What were you watching?

You must be too young to remember the great bobby mimms.

Correct. Must admit i wrote that straight after the goal at which point i thought it had been Sissoko who gave the ball away. My bad. Not sure it changes my point much though

Very hard to judge how our season will go off the back of that game but you have an idea, tbh I don't think we played badly but trying to knock down that brick wall of a defence was always going to be difficult, a draw would have been a fair result and we would have been content with that but an individual error cost us, that's football I guess Hardly panic stations and plenty of matches for us to win at Wembley and pick up some good form before our next big match, keep the faith.

Honestly, I don't think I have ever seen a more disrespectful manager on the touchline. He is like a fucking chimpanzee on amphetamines.

So if Poch decided to run up and down the touchline when we score.......how would you feel about that?

If I remember correctly, Big MJ did something like this and fans were creaming themselves calling him "one of us" a manager that has a deep affiliation with the club......I think it was MJ...I'm sure someone will correct me
