Did Souness just say on Sky that he is a Spurs fan? Or was I hearing things?
Yeah he's said things before, he started his career with us, never played in the first team though.

Looking for an excuse? We didn't need any "game changers" on the field for this match. The 1st eleven today were more than capable and had the opportunity to have won this match outright.Look at the "game changers" Chelski; Manx and shitty have on their benches. I love Son, but we need a few different set ways of playing. Although, I do concede we did give them the victory
What did he say? I turned the volume down.
How so? Where did we need the pace? Chelsea sat back and defended. Pace helps in counter-attacks, and wide-open games. We had neither of those opportunities today.Today showed we need some pace.
Sissoko is the worst player I've ever seen in a spurs shirt.
Eh ?
I'm not sure Aurier is what we need really, to make the difference in this type of gameLet's just smash Burnley next week and it'll be looking okay again. Points-wise that would be a better start than last season. Pair that with a few signings (Aurier and Barkley) and we'll be a lot happier.
Good thing Lampard and Shearer weren't there to slap him down like they did Jenas. He just generally talked us up, said we were the better team, played well, dominated the game etc.
He's a wig wearing nonce.Honestly, I don't think I have ever seen a more disrespectful manager on the touchline. He is like a fucking chimpanzee on amphetamines.
I totally agree. He just does not have the pace or the instinct to push on in the way that we need. He constantly cuts inside and puts under pressure due to his reluctance to go forward. We miss rose massively.Look fair play to the guy, he's almost made me admit I'm wrong about him with his run of games at the end of last season, but seriously we can't have Davies playing all season at Wembley - we need someone pinned high and wide on that left touch line who can attack space. Hurry back Rose.
That was poor. We probably didn't deserve to lose but we definitely didn't deserve to win. No ambition. No change of ideas. Why bring on Son and make him defend? Really disappointing. We need to invest in pace.

Hit the post twice, had two great free kicks one of which teased all the way across goal and the other went in, Kane alone had four chances that on a non-August day you'd bet him to score, including a header from Davies' corner that is absolutely massive but he just glances it. What were you watching?Created nothing and deserved nothing. Looked nervous from the start.
You must be too young to remember the great bobby mimms.
