Closing the deal may not be the issue. It could be that the deal is agreed in large part, but Levy is protecting himself in case Aurier's appeal is not resolved in time. For example, I could see Levy going there basically to sew everything up pending a favorable and timely appeal result. That way the club could pursue secondary targets now in case Aurier is no longer an option (deadline day deals).Maybe - but Aurier has been offered all over Europe this summer - I doubt anyone has to go there to close this deal, and any deal will always hinge on his court appearance.
