Gray is a talented prospect. Don't know about the fees but I'd be happy if we came, as long as someone else better came with him. It's only disappointing if he's the 'gamechanger'
He won't be the game changer lol.

Being English and at a premier league club has risen this guys value by 20 million. I like the look of him, but he's very raw and really hasn't done more than nkoudou, njie had done in the game.

Tottenham unlikely to launch late bid for Leicester City star Demarai Gray
  • Demarai Gray not a transfer target for Tottenham in the current transfer window
Tottenham are unlikely to pursue interest in Demarai Gray at this stage.

Gray has grown tired of the lack of first-team opportunities afforded to him by Craig Shakespeare and is ready to leave 18 months after his move from Birmingham City.

The Foxes have been discussing a potential deal for Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend and Gray has been mentioned as a possible makeweight in that deal this week.

The Leicester forward has also been considered by Everton and Bournemouth with the latter ready to pay upwards of £26million to sign him before Thursday's deadline.

Tottenham, however, are unlikely to enter the race for Gray as they concentrate their efforts on signing Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain while Liverpool striker Divock Origi is also under consideration.

The arrogance of our fans does my head in.

If you can't see the qualities of Demarai Gray as a footballer then you're not paying attention properly IMO.

Not suggesting he's a world beater right now or should be displacing anyone in our starting 11 but I would be more than happy to have him at Spurs. He's young and has huge potential.

Either way, the manner in which our fans dismiss players is pretty embarrassing.

Really not sure about Gray. He'll probably set us back £25-30m, money that could go towards a winger who is proven or at least shown real promise. I'm not sure he has so far at Leicester.

Think id rather just persevere with N'Koudou than do this deal.

THIS!! This boys potential is massive. Don't roll your noses up because he's English and not called Graynaldinho. Excellent signing if it happens

Herc says a wide forward is almost tied up... then says Grey is of real interest. I really hope this is not one and the same. So far from the player we need right now.

I have watched him closely for a yr. Never once did I see anything that could persuade me to think that he is worth buying. Mid table player at best.I don't wanna see us buy someone else's crap

Herc just said in ITK thread that Grey interest is real.

With all due respect, he also said the interest in Benteke was real. 'Interest' being the key here, interest, that is all. Benteke was no more than an inquiry, Grey could be likewise.

Personally, has nothing to do with him being English. Has more to do with he's not really what the team needs at this point. They need an impact guy who will put Eriksen/Alli/Son to the bench. They don't need another GKN.

He said 'Gray is real', not 'Gray interest'. Mirror reported we've made a big bid for Gray so I assume he's referring to that.

I have not paid much attention to his stats up until we were linked with him today. I do know that every time he comes on the field I find myself compelled to watch him because he brings a level of energy to the game and I want to see what he is going to do. At 21 years old at the right price I would be more than happy to have him be a bench option for the team. Poch has done well with young English players.
