Football fans
Player leaves: "Daft prick leaving the club, no loyalty these days".
Players stays: "Daft prick ruining his career, he won't play anyway".
:ROFLMAO:

Kudos to him for staying. Love the attitude. He has twelve months to prove himself now, and if he doesn't he is surely off next summer. I think he can only go from strength to strength, but it would help if Pochettino didn't have Sissoko down as first choice substitute no matter the opponent, standing or tactical need.

Good on him for wanting to stay, hopefully he'll learn a lot from Kane and Llorente this season.

Don't agree. He needs minutes to get his confidence back. Seeing we only play one up front, he's now potentially behind Kane, Llorente and Son so he's really gonna struggle for any game time. He needs to go somewhere else

i think Llorente and Jansen would work well together in a top 2. doubt we will see that happen though

I'm glad he stayed, if he's third choice striker then we have incredible centre forward depth. That said, from his point of view even a bench place is unlikely in a fully fit squad. It's a brace decision with the World Cup looming.

I'm really torn on this. I would love Vinny to stay and be a success here. But he is not getting minutes now and Llorente will almost certainly be Poch's go to guy as the back up striker. Brighton on loan might have been the best thing for both parties. I suspect that the outright sale is what scuppered the move. I like Brighton and helping out Chris Hughton would also have been a big plus.

Plus the transfer window in turkey is open until the 8th September and I'm sure there were previous links for Vinny

I think playing him off Llorente in a modified 3412 would work, Llorente's strength should buy him some added space.

Could the purchase of Llorente in part be that he can be a mentor for Vincent?

I think he can learn from Llorente and three strikers plus Son and NKoudou are decent options as forwards

Poch has always wanted 3 strikers at the club so i'm glad he's still with us, plus it gives us more options off the bench.

All he has to decide is what to do with the time that is given to him.

If he turned down Brighton, I doubt he'll go to Spain. Not sure a club would pay what we're demanding as well, and a foreign loan is just pointless for everyone.
It's not pointless. It's better than having him here without playing.
He needs to be playing every week. It doesn't matter where
