I wouldn't mind the FedEx stadium, my worst nightmare is for it to be some up and coming brand with a stupid name like carabao

The carabao stadium:facepalm:

FedEx Stadium is fine. Reputable brand.

You're always going to have some sort of mickey taking from other fans, best not to worry.

Any stadium with a brand name sounds stupid.

Let's just take the one that gives us the most cash.

But I suspect that picture is either a fake or just a mock-up as part of our marketing material for potential sponsors.

Having said that we must be getting to the point where we will finalise the naming rights. How long before the Emirates opened did Arsenal know it was going to be called the Emirates?

That was originally posted on the SkyScraperCity, which is where the picture in the article has been lifted from. It was pointed out on there that the render of the stadium used doesn't appear to be up to date, so potentially from the same period a few months ago when we got the leaked renders with other potential sponsors branding.

UPS would be a better fit for our slogan we're on the rise:-
We're on the up(s):)

We did similar for UBER, actually making a model stadium with their name on it... They have ended up sponsoring the stadium of a French side (I forget which). It's probably from around that time, when we were pitching to a range of companies.

Given how well we protect transfer targets nowadays, its hard to see how this could be leaked even if its at sponsor end.
IMO, this is fake....

But anyway, with respect to Fed Ex, its a pretty good name. I am hoping we dont see it named as shiity as 'Qatar Stadium' in London.

No-one will want to be associated with a stadium that could be delayed by a year.
Levy has said the key milestone is the roof going up - February I think.
So I'm not expecting any sponsor news until then.
