Lloris
Trippier
Alderweireld
Wimmer
Davies
Mason
Carroll
Onomah
Eriksen
Son
Chadli

Chadli :love::cry:

As others have said, Son in for Dele seems the obvious choice but I quite like the notion of playing Dembele a bit further up against a team like Dortmund, with Winks coming in for Sissoko and Aurier in for Trippier

Lloris

Toby Sanchez Jan

Aurier Dier Winks Davies

Eriksen Dembele

Kane

But I can see the logic with Mousa further back to help against Dortmunds speed and power in the final 3rd. Another option is to play Llorente as the focal point with Kane dropping deeper. It's nice to have actual viable options!!

I cannot fathom how anyone wants us to play 4 at the back, we repeatedly always look so much better with the 3 cbs+ wingbacks

And the whole Wembley being such a big pitch thing, lol it's 5yards longer than whl and identical to the vast majority of other PL pitches

it will be a 3331 like how we play against Everton. Aurier starts and Dembele plays Dele position. That I think is how Poch will set it up.

It's actually far more complicated than it just being 5m longer.

It's actually 500+ sqm bigger than WHL and, given that the size of the size of the boxes are the same on every pitch, all that space effectively comes between the boxes. It means that there is far more ground to cover when pressing, far more space for the opposition to play and more room in behind when we play a high line. This has a number of effects; first and foremost is physical and mental fatigue, both of which were the main factors in conceding the late goals against Burnley and Chelsea.

There's also, undoubtedly, a mental hurdle for the players at the stadium as well, which is altogether harder to fix than the tactical issues caused by the extra space.

We really need Son in this match. Dortmund will come right at us and press high and won't back off the whole match. Sons speed is really needed for counters. Auriers too.

They'll also be without Reus & Shurrle so we'll be facing them at the perfect time.

This is a great opportunity for us to send a message.
Hopefully that message is not "Feeling down? Injury crisis? Poor form? Don't worry, welcome to Wembley, where Tottenham can help you back onto your feet."

Don't think I'd do this, but playing Kane as a 10 behind Llorente could be interesting....

Lloris
Aldereiweld---Sanchez---Vertonghen
Aurier-----------------Dier----------------Davies
Erisken---------Dembele
Kane
Llorente

I reckon Llorente is nailed on to start against Swansea as Poch seems to believe players get extra energy and luck against former teams.

Looking at their injuries and who they've generally started with this season, i'd say the Dortmund team would be something like;
Burki
Pisczeck Papastathopoulos Toprak Zagadou
Sahin Dahoud
Pulisic Castro Philipp
Aubameyang

The three most likely subs being; Gotze, Yarmalenko and Kagawa
Gotze might start ahead of Dahoud, with Castro moving into CM, however his fitness still seems to be an issue.

Its strange really as even though i follow football quite heavily i dont have a clue who 7/8 of that dortmund team are! Yet i know they will rock up at wemblet and play awesome football.

I be tempted to put dembele in allis position because moosa knowa how to get about the oppisition and disposes high up.

Pulisic and Aubameyang are the two exceptional talents, but the rest of the team is solid, although the left back is only 18 and an unknown quantity.

I was going to post this team. Sonny to come on with 20-130 minutes left.
