Ibe has turned this game.
It's funny you know, when Ibe was coming on I thought he wouldn't make a jot of difference, but he's been superb going forward, completely turned the game.

My MOTM tonight, which ain't bad for a second half sub.

A 3rd goal would have seen them leapfrog West Ham in the table.

Hopefully a WBA win tomorrow V WHUL will rectify that.

Brighton tonight looked miles short of the fire-power, mobility and guile to survive. Away at Bournemouth is one of your limited number of chances for an away point, and while they looked totally committed, it was pretty limited stuff.

Winning 10 of your 19 home games only gives you 30 points. That would scare the crap out of me if I were Chris Hughton.

Didn't even know this game was on :(

Liverpool (again) vs Burnley is my televised game later. 2nd week in a row for Liverpool, lucky us.

So Palace's next 4 premier league games are:
Southampton, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.

It's entirely possible that they lose all 4 of those and I kind of want them to now just to see how they react. Would Hodgson be gone too?

They should of went for Arry, but Hodgson will get it done.

Palace are closing in on the PL record for not scoring at the beginning of the season. Another 30 or so minutes to go! Newcastle hold the record, and that season they finished 7th.

Southampton are one of the most impressive clubs in the PL in my view (notwithstanding some bad blood with Spurs).

I'd completely forgotten till I looked it up just now that they were in Tier 3 as recently as the 2010/11 season (!) The way they've rebuilt since then is pretty amazing, esp. considering the big clubs that go down and can't make it back (your Leeds and Wednesdays of this world.)

Since promotion to the PL in 2012/13 (again, really recent considering they've been a Tier 1 club most of my lifetime) they've kept their template of play through several managers, their academy still seems to be producing talent, and their finishes have been 14th, 8th, 7th, 6th, 8th. And despite some boardroom turmoil in that time, they've somehow managed to consolidate.
