Delighted that Winks is starting, he must be getting back to full match fitness. I do hope that Huddersfield don't just park the bus, they are at home after all!

Not arguing with Poch, but do we really need to play 3421 every match? Wouldve preferred 4231 tonight, with Son in for Sanchez, as Huddersfield would surely park the bus, and we would then need more attacking impetus to break through them.

It's amazing that they're all the same height. That's got to be a first.

Well no they're not, you can clearly see six of them are taller than the other five...

Such a simple way of thinking. Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Davies all play further forward than they would in a back 4. This isn't a more defensive formation at all.

Would have sacrificed Sanchez, and the three man defence, to go with Son for a bit more punch in attack, but it's a strong line up and hopefully Winks builds on the other night and starts his ascent to Xavi. Also, him being there means there won't be an enourmous gap between defence and attack as, with Dembele and Wanyama out, we've severely missed having someone who actually likes playing centrally.

Great minds think alike.

Will be tough. Taking chances will be key. If we do take them and put them to the sword it could be 4 or 5. However if we slack off and poddle around for the first 65mins then we could find ourselves dropping points which for me would signal us not being upto standard to challenge for the pl.

Bit harsh to kill him for a god just so we play a diffrent formaton....

So if we take our chances and score we will win, if we dont we could drop points...... well i never ;)

A win today and we would have had an excellent start to the season considering we are playing at wembley

14 points from 7 games
next round of league cup
maximum points from CL

Selection tells me that Poch has been playing Sissoko because he has been his only option, the fact that Winks has come straight in the second Poch feels he is at full fitness just confirms that to me, of course I could be a tactical decision though so I could be wrong.

Also, what is going on with Dembele and Wanyama? Are they both out injured long term?

Looks like a good lineup to me though, hope for 3 points.

At last a balanced line up... no excuses to not put Huddersfield to the sword.
