And going back to Dele yeah he dived but so do loads of players.

We don't tend to like players doing dick moves like that at Spurs as we don't tend to cheat anywhere near as certain others teams but not worth demonising him or analysing it too much as he's hardly only one doing it.

You'd just hope maybe Poch takes him aside and reminds him that diving is lacking in HONOUR and that he is better than that.

I watched the clip back and when he went through, the defender held him back, just a bit but enough to stop him reaching the ball in time to beat the keeper. He could have gone down at that point and maybe win a penalty. I'd guess that was in his mind but he stayed on his feet and went for it. Suspect when he knew it'd overan frustration hit. Split second decisions. Not that fussed about it.

Why are you getting pleasure out of Andros getting rinsed?

Guy came through the ranks and was a genuine Spurs fan. Didn't make the grade fair enough but a good lad would get little enjoyment out of that
It's not that he gets rinsed it's his reaction to it. That clip doesn't show it in it's full light tbh. He gets beat then just strolls off in a huff despite the fact Yanited are on the edge of Palaces box. It was far from the only time in the game he showed little to no effort to help the cause.

He lacks parts to his game and can be frustrating but he is so young. His off ball movement is so valuable to our team especially when we lack pace that we are still a better team with him playing. He is going to keep his place in the team, especially right now where he is getting Champions League and International "rest"

Fair enough. Feel like he got a hard time whe he was with us and still gets a hard time now when he was a fan of the club and was gutted to leave even if he clearly didn't have what it takes

He did the same when Lamela megged him, And I can't remember which player it was but he said AT was the most megged player at the club in training

Not taking specific pleasure that Andros got rinsed. I take pleasure in any player getting megged, especially when they react poorly to it like Andros did. That's funny.

A fit Lamela and Son is gonna start to put real pressure on him.Apart from his poor form ,all these discipline hiccups are adding black marks against him.And the media are starting to wise up as well.Needs to get his shit together very quickly or can see him being dropped.

A little bit overdramatic if you ask me, If he had scored that cutback and shot which hit the post we'd all be talking about the goal.

Just watched match of the day, and they made it look like he had a good game. Not the same impression that I got watching the full game yesterday.

I think sometimes when you watch games back in less heat of the moment situations you realise a lot more things, I seem to do it a lot with Dele.

Think he's had a shocker then watch the highlights are I have forgotten some of the things he had done.

The problem is that Dele is a special player but is still very much learning his trade. People expect too much of him, or expect him to do everything and as such miss what he actually does. He has the knack of making significant contributions. He won't come out with stats of 300 passes in a game with 99% completion because he does not spend his time passing backwards or sideways; no his game is about unsettling defences, it's about making things happen.

We need to appreciate the things he does, stay patient with him and he will get better and better
