This is sadly true, the thing is though, Kane is a local boy, supports Spurs etc. This is fair enough although my expectations are tempered nowadays because as we've seen before it doesn't take much to turn a player's head especially if they get an offer from the likes of Real Madrid or Barcelona. I would be disappointed if he left any time soon but for me it wouldn't be unexpected.
People compare this to Bale but Bale was never attached to the club, he wasn't going to be sticking around it was wishful thinking at best, with Harry I genuinely believe he is above the money and above the "celebrity" of Madrid, he seems a real genuine lad.
Maybe the truth is, I am deluding myself into thinking that and like you say, once a club like Madrid or Barca come knocking it's only a matter of time, the thing is though, if a player like Kane who loves the club, was born local and came up through the ranks can have their head turned then anybody can quite frankly.
If it happens it happens, nothing we can do about it I suppose but I really will be done with football in general after that, Kane is a once in a lifetime type of player imo.
