Love Winks and im happy for him but he's rarely played for us this season and played half the season last year due to injury. Alittle baffling that he's gotten the call instead of someone like Tom Davies, to be honest.

But they should both be on it over guys like Delph and Livermore

If they were replacing AMs or wingers, I would agree but since I think he was trying to find a deeper CM, Winks does make some sense over Davies.

There's something incredibly laughable about Jordan 'sideways' Henderson instructing young Harry where to stand and move to. Kid is mustard, Henderson....the stereotypical overated Liverpool player

Winks my MOTM at mo (80 mins). Couple of small errors but really tidy and hardly loses the ball. Unlucky not to score and showing plenty of effort. Won the ball back a couple of times too.

On the flip side, there weren't many challengers.....

What I dont get is why Henderson keeps trying those long passes, he just hasnt got it in his locker.

I know Wilshire is a prat, but if he could get over his injuries and get back into some form, it'd be really interesting to see a midfield partnership of him and Winks. Both are very capable passers of the ball, and try to be positive with the ball. England's version of Xavi and Iniesta. Albeit, a fraction of how good those two are. It's just that England lack dynamamism. They struggle to move the ball quickly and are just far too slow in their build up. You want midfielders that can take advantage of quick players like Alli, Sterling, Rashford, etc. that's just not going to happen with a central midfield of Henderson and Dier. Both are very slow and cumbersome.
