Strange how it all works. Psg have won both games without conceding yet are way down on the list.

It depends on relative seeding & results obtained. Our seeding is lower than them but we have got results better than expected for our seeing.

Another example - Cyprus have got 2nd most points behind England because Limasol in Europa & APOEL in CL have done better than seeding expectations.

Could do with a bump in our coefficient so we don't keep being put in pot 3.

Sod having it easy against Madrid I want to see them play their stars at Wembley and have no excuse for when we turn them over (plus I want to show Bale that he's still loved in case he ever comes back and gets to choose between us & Utd)

Don't think seeding is anything to do with it. You get the same points whoever you beat. Cyprus is up there for three reasons. One is that the points are calculated on the basis of average per club, so their total is only divided by 4 rather than 7. The second is that you get a lump of points just for playing in the group stage, which is far more important than results at this stage. The third is that they'll have picked up a load of points in qualifying for both tournaments before any of the English clubs bar Everton even started.

Yeah it is. Basically because France have a worse coefficient.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek but good to see us up there :woot:(y)

Caravjal.....heart problems?:wideyed: sounds abit more serious than your average hammy.
Would be great to stick it to em when we meet.....i cant stand real madrid!!:banghead:

It's a viral pericardium infection, which is a lot less serious than it sounds. It's an infection causing inflammation in the membrane around the heart rather than an issue with the heart itself. To put it in perspective, the treatment is normally taking ibuprofen for a week or two. Obviously he'll have a load of checks to make sure everything's okay, but he could easily be back for the first match against us.

Anyone else think we should show our support for Catalonia in their bid for independence?

I hope some of our fans take Catalan flags into the square in Madrid.

And give the Spanish police an excuse to beat up our fans? Remember how they treated our fans at Seville.

Navas out injured too now. Would be incredible if we can pick up a result out there.

On you're own with that one! Police out there give you a kick in and then ask questions later.
