I'm seriously considering going to Enfield v Dulwich Hamlet which is on when I'm next in London, early December. Never been to a non-league match before, should be fun.

Non-league day on Saturday. All of you go support your local. (y)

I went to watch Dulwich Hamlet vs Hendon a few weeks ago. Was surprised at the quality of the game.

Would recommend going to watch Clapton FC. A left wing football club trying to engage with those disillusioned with the modern game.

Everyone should support their local lower league or non league team. Proper football. My second team is scunny, and I enjoy going to see Wimbledon or Brentford on the odd game.

I used to go watch Altrincham a lot with my dad when I was a kid.

The fa cup games against league opposition had a brilliant atmosphere.

Im going to take my son to give him a taste of football culture at that level.

Used to go to Macclesfield Town as a kid. We were League 2 (well, Division 3) back then but been non-league for the past few years. Been ages since I've been to a game since I've moved away from the area. I wanted to go to a game last time I was home for Christmas though and couldn't believe how expensive the tickets were. Bearing in mind when I used to go I'd get in standing for a fiver, now they want over 20 quid! And don't forget they've dropped down a division since! Got some bloody cheek. I've paid 25 quid to see premier league games when I've been to Spurs away against the likes of Wigan and Blackburn so 20+ quid for non-league, they can fuck right off.

I was a season ticket holder at Aylesbury United when they were at their peak. Loved it...
Now they're as good as non existent due to shitty financing and lack of assistance from the council.

It's 20 quid standing nowadays if you wanna go and see Dagenham in the conference

Yeah it's a bit mad really. This is probably relatively speaking more than that because Dagenham is obviously "London prices" whereas Macclesfield is a shit former textile factory town in the North West. Like I say, Premier League and Championship games can be had in the area for similar prices so how do they expect people to "give non-league a try" when they want 20-25 quid?

Being a part time 'Towner' I highly recommend you go, I go about 4/5 times per year, its a great laugh and you can get pissed pretty cheaply whilst you watch the match...the standard is surprisingly good considering its about the 7th tier of English football.

I go to Hamlet quite a lot, even seen them away in sunny Bognor once. It’s £11 to get in (you can’t take in booze anymore) and the standard isn’t bad at all.

Regular watcher of the Southern Premier League. Most reams have a smattering of players that have spent time with pro clubs but didn't quite make the grade or older former league pros, these are still very good players.

Went to see Leyton Orient play. They've got our old player Charlie Lee, who scored a spectacular goal in that game against Havant & Waterlooville.

The Os are trying to get out of the National League, but with Manc-backed Salford (who beat them 3-0 yesterday) breathing down their necks it'll be a big ask to get back into League Two.
