Not sure why people are worried. It's not like he's expected to play this weekend. It will be a few weeks of intense training to get him 100% before he steps on the pitch.

It's still very early in the season, it's impossible to know where the Rose saga will end for Spurs. Yes at the moment it's hard to see him being anymore then option 2 and leaving in the summer, but thats a long way away and there is a lot of football to be played. It will come down to attitude, performances, injuries (to Davies and Rose), amount of games played etc. There are far too many variables to come up with any real conclusion espechially with Rose only just back in full training.

Any word officially when he will be back in contention
Can't imagine he'd be back before West Ham in the Carabao Cup, as that would be 2 weeks full training. I could see him and Lamela getting some minutes then, and possibly be back to league games early to mid-November.

Guesswork though.

We may get some sort of indication after Poch's presser at lunchtime
I'm calling it now: "I don't want to say exact because I do not know but now it is good for them to train with the team and build fitness."

That would be disappointing and worrying. Disappointing because I think he's a far more effective player than Davies. Worrying because as a club we need to find a way of dealing with 'dissent' that doesn't involve selling a player at the first opportunity.

Is he far more effective than Davies? It was easy to say that when Rose was first injured, but months down the line, with a huge winning streak, and good form at the beginning of this season, you have a hard case to make that Rose is better than Davies. Davies is in the form of his life and right now I'd not be dropping him for Rose, even if fully fit.

As to dealing with 'dissent', you need to change perspective. Poch is trying to create an atmostphere where no one is bigger than the collective, and so the approach from the camp is that dissent will mean being ostracised or sold in some cases. We need to catch up with that, and start to believe in the club a bit more.
