Were back guys.
Season has started...into round 2.
Already traditionally strong teams look to be maybe struggling.
Way to early for predictions. Go you Crows.

Interesting start to the season Hawks and Pies 0-2, Richmond 2-0, drug cheats looking like they'll go 2-0.

I fear a long season for North. :(

Brisbane Lions won last week but I don't think Gold Coast is much of a test.. trailing to Essendon right now but it's close.

Edit: Just as I type that, Lions go ahead.

Brisbane wont be the easy beats they have been this season. Gold Coast on the other hand!

First week of the finals over.
Crows looked good and controlled.
Geelong played their "home" final in front of a hostile crowd. Doesn't seem fair to me. 60,000 Richmond supporters out of the woodwork screaming for blood! Richmonds intensity was impressive though.
Sydney did what Sydney do. Had a training run against an inexperienced Essendon.
West Coast - Port. Wow. Edge of the seat stuff. Game of the year so far. Not pretty at all. But what a match. Kudo's to West Coast in a game that was nailbiting. Bet @Tottenham_God was a little excited last night!

This thread is dying a slow death!
Looks like I'm the only happy guy here! :D That was an amazing performance by the boys last night.
How you feeling @Twizzle ? I've always had a big soft spot for Geelong and the way the club is run and the way they play.
I would expect to be playing Richmond. Should be awesome next week.
Go you mighty Crows

After everything the Crows have been through, from losing the most players to Free Agency to the genuine tragedies of the losses of Bailey and Walsh, there wouldn't be too many better footy stories if they go on to win it this year, and I sincerely hope they do. I haven't enjoyed watching a team that I don't support more than this years Adelaide; high scoring, always take risks to win the corridor and regularly use CHF as it was originally intended to be used. They're a great example of coaching and a superior tactical approach being more valuable than hoarding bucket loads of early draft picks for success, which I admire as well.

And not one top ten draft pick in the team. Full credit to the scouting team to be honest. I was just listening to the MMM team and they had Tex Walker on. He said something very interesting regarding the players they target. Attitude is more important than ability. I think thats paid off for us.
We will no doubt lose another gun youngster this season. I don't think even a Premiership will stop Jake Lever leaving, and that will be a massive loss. Such a pity.
