Yeah, I think they’ve been a bit unlucky though, whenever I watch them they seem to play a decent brand of football, better than most teams I watch in this league.

Like today really. But Shane Long doesn’t belong at this level.
I might be missing your point but clearly you're suggesting CL for Mr Long?

But they have already they played a team who can attack (liverpool), breezing past them, and they played a team who can defend (chelsea). I thought chelsea would play the counter attack to great effect but it didn't work out like that and city ended up looking like world beaters in that game. They prove themselves against us and United and I think they really will walk it.

Yep the Chelsea game was where I thought they might come unstuck but don't forget that this season's Chelsea aren't the dominant on of last season (whilst still being a very good team).

They do look stronger than the beginning of last season when all and sundry were praising them, that's true. It's just a shame they haven't got us coming up on the horizon. No idea when they play Man U away either or even Arsenal away but like we saw last season they only need one defeat to let the doubt creep in. Let's hope they slip up soon.

Just like to say that I am so glad that we didn't go for Iheanacho in the summer. Quite happy how our backup turned out.

edit: ...and Mahrez too.

Mahrez is the very definition of one season wonder. I hope “pulling a Mahrez” is used to describe one season wonders in the future.
