I was thinking that since were going to be a regular in Europe now, and that sponsorship names arnt used in European competition that it'd be good to come up with a name based on location as an official alternate to the sponsorship one.
I noticed on the map that we're going to be closer to the road called White Hart Lane and the station, so a novel idea cropped up why not call it "White Hart Lane"? or "White Hart Lane Too"(2)
Or am i just reinventing the wheel? :D

Simon Jordan mentioned he heard £450m deal
Whilst I wouldn’t believe much that cocaine addled muppet says, 450m would be amazing. That plus the long term ticket packages would mean we wouldn’t have the same austerity the Scum had to endure post-Highbury.

That would be almost double previous estimates.
Funny how that figure mirrors the original projected building costs.:cautious:

Old Simon can’t possibly be getting his figures in a twist.

Excellent news if we've got three options competing against each other.

Wring them dry Dannyboy!

Hsbc? Oh god no. Talk about a scummy company. Defrauding there regular clients out of a total of 3.5bn. They might be trying to rehab there image a bit but they also could now be fined another 1.5bn for helping there big wig clients with tax evasion. There’s scummy companies then there’s HSBC a level or 2 above that.

I like the idea of the FedEx Stadium which I've seen around various places.

Nice, reputable, but still global and well known brand and has a decent ring to it.

More exposure in the Far East (HSBC - Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, for those that don't know).

I did read a while ago that they were considering resurrecting the Midland Bank name over here though so perhaps there could be some tie-in with that.

You are going to be hard pressed to find a company willing to spend the money that Levy wants, who does not have some skeletons in the closet.

Just seeing this - but I think the sponsorship bans only apply to the final match - not to any group or knockout stage matches hosted by Spurs.
