Everton are really putting down a market this summer.

So far

Pickford
Michael Keane
Klassen
Sandro Ramirez

All young, talented and sensible but exiting signings.

Hope they overtake Liverpool.

This needs to be golded and archived for future generations.

July 3rd 2017. Going for top 4.
Oct 23rd 2017. Sacked.

Unless they've somehow got Ancelotti or a similarly successful manager lined up I can't see the point in sacking Koeman, especially if the best replacement you can manage is Moyes. Sacking De Boer hasn't exactly turned things around for Palace. Surely they would have been better off giving Koeman a chance to get through this rough patch and for his team to gel?
Some noise on Dyche now.

It's easy to say give Koeman time, but we don't see a manager day to day when it all goes wrong. If he's going to pieces at the training ground it's hard for a club to sit back and do nothing.

I just can't see Dyche or Silva being allowed to leave mid season at the drop of a hat, Its got Moyes all over it IMO.

I think with what Dyche has done for Burnley they wouldn't stand in his way if he asked to go. Only a hunch though.

Could affect Barkley coming to us? We know he didn't get on with Koeman... however after yesterday I'm sure he'll stick to his guns and demand a move to a proper top 4 club!

TBH they stood by him when they were dreadful and got them relegated, seems the kinda bloke who would repay that loyalty.
Not saying he won't move to a bigger club eventually, but mid season leaves them right in the shit...Silva could be different as I think Watford only ever sign their managers for a year at a time, but its not like Everton is a massive pull right now, their squad is all over the shop.

The people I feel most sorry about are the Spammers that piled in on Bilic getting the bullet next at 1/5

I agree in general but getting rid of him doesn't solve their problems of new players still bedding in and the failure to replace last season's top scorer. Everton aren't in danger of getting relegated so what's to lose with giving Koeman time to see if this is simply a rough patch? For a club that's supposed to be aiming for the CL getting rid of a manager with Eredivisie titles under his belt for Dyche or Moyes seems a bit odd. Neither of those two is going to get Everton to the level where the owners want it to be.

Makes a lot of sense. Get in there before Leicester tie him up. First and foremost will make them hard to beat.
