Leon Goretzka. And he's actually attainable. Him and Winks could be a next level midfield that could compete with the very, very best.

I know all the super-clubs are after him next summer when his contract is up, but we should be using Poch's charisma to try and woo him too. He could be up there with the very best midfielders in the world in a year or two.

Kante. HIm in front of ur defence and we'd rarely let a goal in.

Would allow us to be even more attacking with the other mids having more license to get forward.

Not sure actually. He's an excellent player but I'd say he's largely replicable (is that a word - you know what I mean...) with current players we have.

Hazard or De Brune, less so

The thing is we no longer have a 1st xi. Because of the improvements in certain squad players it’s almost impossible to pick 11 players.Along with ever changing systems we are now a squad not a team.Son has proved he is the pacy winger.
Almost impossible to believe that their are some situations I’d rather see sissoko over dembele. The only possible squad weak link is Nkoudou, but he may still come good. For me it’s:
1.CM possibly but if winks and Onomah and TOB keep on improving I’d hold fire.
2. I wouldnt trust Llorente in a long spell if Kane were injured.

Firstly, we don't play 4231 any longer thanks to the Lord (Pochettino, not God). Secondly I wouldn't take Salah if he was thrown at us. Thirdly, I said all summer that to me, CB and CM were the most important positions to reinforce. I still stand by that. They sorted CB, so well done. Which leaves CM. I'd take a young Modric (Rabiot for instance) in a heartbeat and call it good.

You mean the same bloke who was owned by Wanyama and Dembele in both our games against them last season ?

I wouldn’t put him in our first 11.

If you gave me the choice of any one player in the world I’d pick Alexis Sanchez for obvious reasons ;)

Can we just enjoy where we are at the moment? We have players returning to the squad. Is something going wrong? Its mid October you know. The next transfer window is weeks away. Can't we discuss it then?

We’ve played it at least 2 times this season

If you really judge all players based on two games then you're a moron.

Kante was one of Leicester's driving forces in their title winning side and last year was PFA players player of the year and Premier League player of the season last season.

So yeah, wouldn't mind him in our side even if he did play badly against us last season.

Well for starters our squad/first eleven is more like that, I would say the one player I would love is a long term Dembele replacement possibly Barkley? But needless to say our squad is up there with the very best now as shown the last games with all our injuries yet putting out performances like Madrid away

I’m not going to rise to the bait. Suffice to say my opinion of Kante isn’t based solely on those 2 games. I think he is massively over rated. Have you heard any mention of him this season ?

I’m staggered that when faced with the magic wand of choosing one player to improve a team that had the best defence for 2 seasons on the trot that any Spurs fan would select a defensive midfielder.

Have a wonderful evening.
