Been a huge Inter fan since the Football Italia days. Was glad to see Bobo finally join in 99’. Got a mate in Turin who’s an inter fan too. Plan to go see him and watch a game.

Good match last night. Was so happy Icardi sealed the win. Would love him at Spurs.

Great performance by Roma tonight, outplaying Chelsea and very unlucky to only end up with a draw.

Anyone doing the Napoli-Inter game? should be a good one. @Bus-Conductor it might not interest you as there is bound to be some pace in the game as well as some attacking which I understand is anathema in Serie A.:p

Napoli pick holes in defences really well. And of course Insigne is a joy to watch.

Pace is absolutely fine, as long as it's only used for rigorous defensive coordination. It's when it's used for all that fluffy creative attacking nonsense it gets boring.

Got this one on record, so trying to avoid this thread until I watch, maybe later hopefully.

Not happy to see this. It's disgusting and very discrespectful. The ultras still hold far too much influence in Italy with clubs doing very little to tackle it.

This is honestly one of the most disgusting things I've seen, doesn't look like a minority either.

The James' Horncastle and Richardson did a very good segment on the gang culture of the Ultras and their motives on The Totally Football Show podcast that came out yesterday. Basically Ultras of all clubs stick up for each other against "the man" even when they hate each others' clubs.

Really disgusting to see. The audio of the Lazio president talking about the "show" he put on in the Holocaust tribute, or words to that effect, was also horrible.

Nobody watching the Genoa v Samp derby ? Good game, I'm 60 minutes in and Genoa are unluckily still a goal behind, they've been the better side. Veloso and Taraabt (and now Pandev) playing for Genoa.

I'm really enjoying Italian football again, probably my favourite European league to watch right now, always tactically interesting, well coached and very competitive. The level of defending - and I don't just mean defenders, I mean how teams are coached to defend as teams - is vastly superior to the PL and Bundesliga. The PL just seem to throw money at individuals to circumnavigate this.

Second half's been all Genoa, then Samp go up the other end and skank another goal. Really harsh on Genoa.

Just finished second half of Cretone v Genoa. It’s such a shame Taraabt has shit for brains and the dynamism of Neville Southall because he’s got insane talent in his boots. Nature can be so cruel.

Now onto Samp v Juve, should be a good tussle, Samp seem to have a bit about them this year.

Juve some how mess up 3 on 1 counter attack and then Samp with a quality second goal!

Unbelievable 3-0 Samp (I’m a bit behind). What the fuck was Khadeira doing? If he’d played on instead of standing there appealing for offside, he might have stopped Ferrari scoring.

Strange ending. Bizarre penalty to give away by Samp. Overall deserved the win though.

Weird that there's so many Nerazzuri here, I am kind of one as well. Inter has been my Italian team/second team since Italia 90 when they had Klinsmann, Mattheus, Brehme, Zenga, Bergomi and the like. Zanetti remains one of my favourite players of all time.
