Fuck.

The other thing that worries me is he misses a few of our games and then is miraculously fine to play in a couple of meaningless friendly internationals.

I hope if he can’t play against Palace then we pull him out of those games, but we tend to bend over for England so I doubt out.

Obviously a massive blow, but we're a bloody good team, and good opportunities for players like Llorente and Son.

I’d feel more confident if Llorente looked match sharp and we played to his strengths.

We need other players to step up now tomorrow. Hopefully Eriksen doesn’t go into his shell like he did at the Bernabeu.

In the league, we won against Man City (h), Burnley (a), Swansea (a) and Watford (h)
We drew against Leicester (h), Bournemouth (a) and WBA (a)

These were the games where Kane didn't start. He came on as a late sub against Watford.

People still think Llorente was a wise purchase?
Genuine question, who would you have purchased instead - needs to be an achievable target - wages, fee, willingness to come and be backup for possibly most of the season?

I remember in match preview threads last season thinktank would occasionally select Janssen on the wing so maybe he's not teh best person to ask when it comes to strikers. :p

Big blow for tomorrow and if there is an ounce of doubt then he should not be risked for Madrid. Put him away until the Arsenal game.

Harry was praised by pundits for running back 90 yards after losing a ball. Then he goes off with cramp at the end. Kane does not need to run back that far We do have defenders! Rooney was the same and look at him now .If Harry wants to be like Messi and Ronald he needs to use his brain. You never see Messi in the defensive half never mind run back 90 yards
i think it is more the case that Poch needs to take this as a learning point - Do not leave Kane on for 85 minutes in a game we have won, or he is clearly tired, just because he wants to stay on and get a hat trick. He has to protect him from himself.
