Considering the height we have in the team such as dier, Sanchez , Toby and vertonghen it's amazing how we cannot deal with balls into the box.I wouldn't disagree that it's a weakness at the back - and also particularly at defending set pieces (but that's another topic). I don't think you can expect to win every header, but there should definitely have been a better challenge.
Ultimately it's a poor goal to concede all round and if we're talking a good game about competing for titles it's not good enough to concede like that. In these crunch games we simply have to aspire to be better than that. Even in games we have got good results in recently, Madrid and Liverpool, we've seen that if you switch off and have a soft bit of play (losing the ball in our half twice needlessly) then you get normally get punished at the top level in brutal fashion. What we have to do as a team is take that step from doing everything right 98-99% of the game to as damn near 100% as possible.
Against West ham midweek and in the league we were simply woeful and are always second to everything, the question is why when we have a coach who is so attentive to detail that we are wanting in the basics.
