Latibeaudiere, I'm not a big fan of his either but disagree with your general comment.

Seem to remember it was his fuck up that lead to Spain getting a last minute equaliser in the Euro final. Strikes me as the sort of player who will get picked at every youth level because of his club but go no further.

Not sure what fuck up you mean but I'm pretty sure it was Panzo who gave the ball away.

Latibeaudiere missed our penalty in the shootout. I don't know why they'd choose him just for his club. He wasn't selected for the Euros. Only called up after an injury to TOB in the semi.

Who is that captain for England... He will be lucky to play conference football when he is older. This age group is full of lads who hit puberty the earliest and come 4 years time at least five of them won't t be in Premier league football.

Very old school view and clearly not the case. The reason England used to do poorly was maybe for that reason. If what you said was the case, why would we be doing so well now. These players are technically good. Latibeaidiere isn't even the biggest player in the back line so don't understand the point.

I thought he has had a decent tournament but he is a very good CB. If he doesn't make it in the PL, it will be more due to pl clubs lack of ability in bringing youth through than his ability

Yeah, he missed the penalty but also got in the way of the keeper who otherwise could have kept out the equaliser. He was called up and then put straight in the team for the final ahead of Eyoma who had played every game.

Who is responsible for England finally producing technical players that can compete with Germany, Spain, France etc?

Is it the F.A. or clubs like Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Spurs?

Who is that random bird that ran on at the end and started molesting all the boys?

OMG I am sooo proud of this team. I'm grinning ear to ear. We deserved to win the Euros and I said I expect us to go on and win World Cup despite it still being a massive feat. And they've done it.

Watching these boys since they were 15 and our boys 12/13 seeing them get to this stage has been great and a huge achievement.

So many of these players have won player of tournament awards for their clubs. One thing being individuals but to come together as a team and deal with the expectation and hype, has been great.

And to think there are still loads of players who you could argue are good enough for this team lurking in other clubs. You could make 4 different elevens the talent runs deep. Really is the golden generation. We cannot fail them, Foden could play for City now I don't care about size, and we need to take CHO before he signs that pro.

Sancho is the player we should have had. Still can't believe why we didn't refuse to sell Walker if Sancho wasn't part of the deal.

If they refused that then we keep Walker. Like Modric I'm sure he would have been able to get over his "dream move" when facing the prospect of reserve football and no world cup as a result.
