should have had 2....

Looked like a decent debut. Much much harder for defenders to join new teams I feel. They have to work as a unit from day one and mistakes are likely to be punished. He looked calm on the ball, played with his head up looking to who he could offload to before winning the ball at times and took his goal well. I still think he will be part of our back line in the future. Maybe in 3-4 yeas we will see a back 3 of CCV Foyth and Sanchez, all under 25 with several years of experience under their belts. Its a defence that could play until 2030!! Great to see us building that next wave even though we have the best 2 cbs in the league at the moment.

We have arguably 2 equally or better CBs younger than him. Also Brown, Tanganga and particularly Eyoma are all a lot better running with the ball at their feet than him, so could make better RCBs or LCBs.

We do an brilliant job at producing CBs for some reason

4-2 up but read he hasn't been great - very clumsy?

he's been ok-fine. some seem to be saying he was at fault for wednesday's 2nd goal but i don't think that's fair at all. the ball was out wide, he was running back towards his own goal and the ball was crossed along the ground behind him, he tried to turn but his forward momentum wouldn't allow it and their player smashed it in.

Viewing that it was a great finish but he should have been keeping an eye on the scorer rather than being zonal. He might not have gone down if he was closer or, indeed, may have deterred the winger from crossing

All about the learning curve for him, he seems to be a bit of a brute and is physically outstanding for his age. But the art of being a defender, timing, positioning, reading danger.... will hopefully come with time. Let's hope he knuckles down, next couple of years will be pivotal for him.

If he combines that natural strength with great positioning he becomes a very difficult defender to beat. In all the championship represents a good loan for him at this stage in his career, as you say, i hope he knuckles down and takes it.

Played 90 minutes once again as Sheffield United beat Wolves 2-0 which put them into second place. Some comments from a Sheffield United forum:

"Watch the aggression in Carter Vickers face when he's challenging someone. He's a Blade."

"We've been excellent so far. Wolves were struggling even before the sending off – we've dominated since. Coutts has been superb, we've had several decent chances, and a well worked goal to cap off a great half. Only instance we were troubled was where Wright tidied up after a CCV slip let one of theirs in on goal – CCV has been excellent otherwise. Great half."

he conceded a penalty in the 2nd half, though fortunately they missed.

A few mates are Blades and they have been really impressed with him. Mate text me this morning to say that he put in another solid performance. Says he's really strong and quick.

I think it indicates how highly Poch rates Foyth to have sent CCV on loan despite his obvious promise and several first team appearances

Cameron played the full ninety minutes against Leeds on Friday night and the win took them to the top of the Championship.
He seems to have made the place in the team his own so is doing ok, did anybody see the game, I wonder how he played.
