Thats a bit of a contridiction...........you praise the team for drawing with RM and beating the bin dippers.........both big games.... then say we are legends and don't perform in big games........which is it to be?

That's the exact point I was making:D

Just watched the game as missed it yesterday. A lot of over reaction on here. We actually played pretty well against a decent team. A moment of lapse defending aside we were quite comfortable. If it had ended 0-0 I think most people would have been satisfied. We also had a few chances ourselves. The players people are slagging off e.g. Eriksson, Dele, Sissoko etc did not have bad games just they were up against good players.

If we can beat Palace next week, Utd are away at Chelsea so we could be back level with them again. So hardly a season deciding game.

I can see Utd beating Chelsea if I'm honest.

Either way, it would still be good for us as our primary target is to qualify for CL when we start playing at our new stadium.
Exactly that is what I have been saying on here that top four is our marker not the league which I believe is beyond us right now.
But some think your being negative if you say it but I'm realistic to to know what we can and can't achieve and top four is.
As we can all see we do not have the resources of the others and so for that we are left a little short, but let's be honest this is better than what it was 10 years ago and for that we have to be happy knowing our place.

I see both sides of the arguments and I do agree with you on several points.

The season is only a quarter way through and many things can happen from now till next May. City relies a lot on KDB and their defence is still relatively weak (definitely weaker than ours). At this point of time and with City's current form, it's very difficult seeing any other team winning the league but we shouldn't just give up and we should always try to be in a position to take over the lead if City and/or any of the other challengers trip up. If City get a red card or two in some of their forthcoming games, they might drop points.

We've been playing with several important players missing this season. With Kane, Sanchez and Wanyama in the game against United, the result might have been different. Its not just their quality that was missed but with their presence and desire, the other players might have upped their play.

Rose is slowly getting back to speed and when Lamela returns, we would have a stronger bench and not rely on Sissoko or GKN as an alternative attack minded player.

Let's also hope that we get in the likes of Barkley (if he's back to his best by Jan), and if possible, get Josh back, in the winter window.
For now, we just have to keep on getting as many points as possible and stay within close distance from the league leaders

Yep, I'll bite your hand off for top 4 in our season at Wembley.

If we win nothing again this season this team will be known as a team of nearly men a bunch of Spursy legends.
A team without medals is a team of losers.

Sissoko's touch is quite poor.......

It's shockingly awful considering the fee we paid, what he reputedly earns and he is a French international amongst some really good players. Him and Dele Ali should get some tutoring from Ben Davies who I feel has an understated excellent touch.

Sorry but the balls come from out of the keepers hands - we have plenty of time to make a challenge - Sunday morning stuff and very basic defending - should never ever be beat at this level as easily as that. So basically there's just no point attempting to challenge Lakuku in the air what so ever?

You can have the smallest bloke on the pitch beating a much taller more powerful man in the air - it's simple about timing, judgement and also a fucking will to want to win the ball in the first place.
I totally agree, at the point of the kick. It shouldn't happen It was sunday league.

The fact is he didn't steal 2 yards on Toby, it was more like 5 yards.. At that point, you can't win the ball. You have to consolidate in behind.
