One of my favorite parts about tonight was that Poch didn't celebrate the win. Had he done so it would have made us look small time.

He's a proper good guy and he's a not so secret fan of ours.

That wouldn't have been a snide comment. He calls it as he sees it. He loves us.

I like Wright as well. Stumbles over his words a bit but always speaks honestly and just seems like a good dude. And it is so clear he is a closet Spurs fan.

Kane may not have scored but his influence is immense. We looked much worse once he went off. He is a complete striker, his ability to control the ball with man in the back is berbaesque, and takes so much pressure off the team and creates so much
With him and sanchez we dont lose to man utd simple

Ronaldo on the ball shits me, seems like he always has to do a few step overs or body feints before he will pass or shoot.

*edit, couldn't get the getty link to show the image

I love this 3rd goal so much...... Eriksen was beside Modric for the last stretch tussling. Modric was just futile in stopping Eriksen from scoring. If any, that moment, and this frame, was almost an uncanny reflected presentation of our journey.

We had Modric for a few good years, now I am just so so so thankful we have Eriksen.

I really love the thought that not only did we just beat Real at the national stadium. This all comes with the back drop of us building what will be the best stadium in the World at the time of opening, with a team built the right way and which will continue to grow by bringing through more young players and signing young talent rather than buying stars

Ok... Now that my brain is actually functioning...

Really really please with the win. One week ago I was utterly disgusted by the way we threw a 2 goal lead and lose to crap spam. To a fantastic performance against a under strength and off form Madrid. I admit... We had a lot of luck on our side. Offside goal. Deflected goal... And even Ronaldo coming to our rescue with a block on the goal line...

It was just one of those magical matches where everything came together and I think this match is gonna be the highlight of our time at Wembley. Something we will be talking about for years.

So pleased we have made it past the group stage. When they draw was made... I knew we had a chance to finish 2nd, hopefully Madrid helping us by beating bvb on the last match day. But it didn't come down to that and we earn our spot the hard way. So pleased with the team we have and the character we showed to come back from losing back to back games.

As for Madrid fan, I am a tad disappointed with Zizou's tactic. Big mistake taking out your ball winning midfielder and throwing him in defence. But I guess he wanted to go 3-5-2 to match up with us. Kroos and Modric are great players. But both ain't too willing to get "stuck in" to win the ball, the team just lack steel. Personally I feel Madrid's squad look really light, think they need to spend when the transfer window opens.

Overall it was just a magical game... A special special night we will remember for the rest of our lives. On a different day. The match could have ended 3-3 or 4-4. But I am so glad we brought home the win...

Onwards and upwards... COYS! (y)

He was feeling the occasion initially with all his trickery, you could tell.

For as much as he's lost over the years he's still a dangerous fucker and a fantastic player. Like they said in commentary, he was the only one who looked any bit good on the ball for them and he very rarely lost it. I personally really like him as a player in terms of the way he plays but it's the other stuff like not celebrating other team mates contributions or goals or moaning at them constantly and such that I don't like. The somewhat selfish side to him.
