What's the chances of me getting a ticket for arsenal away? What avenues can I go down?

Should be interesting to see how Mertesacker and co deal with city's pace next week at the Etihad. With no DM and Wengers gung ho mentality I can see them getting roasted.

Spoke to one of the regular lorry drivers at work. He's a gooner. Talking about how much he misses Highbury etc. He lives in Barnet but cba to go to the emirates anymore.

Really hope we don't go the same way...

Yeah supposedly a lot of the "old school" lot from Highbury stopped going to the Emirates. It's part of the reason why they've been so whiney about Wenger I suppose as half the people who go nowadays don't remember what Arsenal were like before Wenger came in and they've, by and large, been spoiled and a lot of them only started following Arsenal because they were doing so well back in the Henry era. Now that things aren't going so perfectly they're moaning all the time.

I don't think it'll happen to us. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I think we've been really lucky that our stadium development happened later. All of the ones that were built as part of the "first generation" modern stadiums are lifeless bowls designed to maximize corporate hospitality with no regard for things like atmosphere e.g. Emirates and Wembley. As a result, we've been able to learn from those lessons and so have put a special emphasis on maintaining the matchday atmosphere as much as possible. Supposedly Levy has made it a priority to make the stadium hold the noise in and keep the stands as close to the pitch as possible, plus the obvious addition of the single-tier stand. I know a lot of people were initially skeptical of moving into a modern stadium but I genuinely think this thing is going to be the nuts and Gooners and Spammers alike will be massively jealous whether they'll admit it or not.

I wouldn't bet against them beating Man City.

Really? I think they will get obliterated. Arsenal are decent with the ball but they are shocking without it. Wenger should really field a defensive deep lying set up and counter city. I don't think He is capable of doing that personally, and without a decent DM to protect the slow as shit Mertesacker I can see City's pace and movement being on another level.

I know it's Arsenal but obviously at this stage I'd want them to get a result against City. But if City are going to win I hope it's close to double figures.

It seems that every time I think Arsenal will get smashed by a PL team, they somehow get it together and pull something out of the bag (see FA Cup final v Chelsea), so it wouldn't surprise me to see them nick it v City, not getting my hopes up though.
