Yeh, Binks is a centre half although before he declared for England he was playing for Scotland and for some unknown reason they played him at left back, which...he just isn't. At all.

I think you may have got him confused with when he played for England. He was LCB for Scotland during Victory Shield obivously couldn't watch their other games but assume he would have played their for those as well. For England he played a couple of games at LB I think, though in the most recent tournament he featured in he played at LCB for England too.

But I agree on his ability, not seen him at LB but he doesn't strike me as one, though I think he would probably do a job.

Very good on ball, and loves a raking pass off the left peg, to help counter/spring attacks. Seems to have a decent knack of getting assists and picking up goals.

Any potential superstars in here like a Foden or sancho.Dont really know any of them.Heard binks named mentioned before where does he play in defence ?
Binks And winks in same team be fun lol.

I don't really see anyone on the level of the now u18s. A lot of these 01s are struggling for game time of the u18s at the moment for some reason, I'd argue that Markanday deserves a call up for how well he has played for us, and the relative lack of games others have been playing combined with the lack of obvious stars.

Anyway to answer your question. Mason Greenwood and Bobby Duncan are very talented and highly rated strikers. Duncan has alsways banged in goals and I feel like I've heard of Greenwood for ages without seeing him play so must be really good Don't know why they have Greenwood down as a midfielder. Luis Longstaff is a highly rated winger who Liverpool pinched off Newcastle, quite big for a winger. However, in that particular squad I think Curtis Jones is the closest you'll get to the attacking talent you'll find in 00s. He's been in great form recently and is very highly rated. Due to his hair a lazy comparison which might spring to mind is Coutinho if you watch him. He has excellent feet really silky and tricky. He's a player you could put in the u18s squad and he wouldn't look out of place which is great credit to him and prob is the best indication of his ability. I think he is the best player in that age group.

And the last time I put pressure on him, I really want to see Clarke back and fit to see if he is as good as I remember him being as I've always believed he was good enough for England.

Eng U19 call up for Tanganga.

This age group could be dangerous. These 99s who I though could have won their Euros with the talent in their age group but didn't quite click. Unfortunately they've had a lot of talented players that have suffered a lot of injuries and its sad to imagine how many players have been stunted as a result, but yet this age group is still strong. They used a load to support 98s and already won Euros.

Now, and I don't know how exactly it will work, they can start incorporating the 00s though they may give some of them a break for a while. So you would have a quality first team and any area of weakness can immediately be reinforced by the 00s. I reckon these guys could/will win the Euro u19s again.

Not many gone up into the U20s? Sessegnon, Sterling, Mount etc are all back into U19s again

The u20s don't have any competitions this year whereas the u19s have the Euros. I assume, they want to keep the players, eligible for that tournament, together so they have the best chance of winning it back to back.

The u20s like the u18s are in a bit of a dead year, in that there is no major competition for them to play in. They'll probably try out some new players and have a couple of experimental u20s squad which, when Edwards doesn't get selected for one, people will start asking why and say 'see he isn't as good as people make out'. They will probably find a tournament for the u20s to compete in, but it serves no purpose having Sterling, Mount or Sessegnon with them

I definitely saw Binks playing left back for the Scots in a youth tournament. He didn't look comfortable at all although he was still the only defender capable of doing anything other than hoofing it. Scotland have big, big problems.

If the experts on here were betting men who would rate more likely to succeed Tanganga or Ccv?
Been so impressed with tanganga, starting to think he’s ahead of Ccv.

Interesting new piece from the BBC about youth football: http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41839083
The kid is 15 and wants to move to his 5th club? Something is not right here. Is this a case of the kid thinking he's it and a bit or his parents whoring him around to try to make the most money? Somethings not right. He needs to knuckle down and get on with learning the game and plying his craft.

In Michael Calvin’s book on youth football there was a similar thing mentioned, might have even been this lad. I think it’s his dad behind it all. They dragged the boy off to Madrid as the training was not good enough over here. Needless to say he’ll be playing Sunday league by the time he is 20.
A lot of parents are seeing pound signs with their sons and just chasing the money these days. It only costs £500 to become a representative(new word for agent) Apparently Swansea paid 1m to Abraham and his family for the loan. That was extra to the fee to Chelsea. Prob why he didn’t go to Newcastle

Yep ridiculous really he needs to buckle down at Derby now and prove he can make it.

Shouldn’t be so quick to have jumped from other clubs.
