Like these quotes a lot:
"I think personally it's one of my best performances since I've been at Tottenham, and throughout my whole career to be honest," Trippier said.

"Playing against these players, playing in the Champions League, it just what you dream of as a young boy and I can only thank Tottenham for letting me do that."

If only you could morph the pair of them into one ultimate RB/RWB.

Think they'd cover all bases combined. Pace, crossing, tackling, reading of the game.

Yeah, if only Trippier was a bit quicker.

To be fair, I'd have to agree. Walkers pace was his saving grace, IMO take this away and he's bang average. Pace rescued many of his lapses.

I have seen him put a couple of decent balls in this season for City, the one for Sterling (?) the other day was on the money.

Still nowhere near Trippier's level of crossing yet though.

For me, Trips end product is fantastic, miles ahead of walker in that department. I feel there is not much between them defensively but walker just edges it there for me. Trips sometimes is not aggressive enough defensively , perhaps because hes flat out of gas after his forays forward? Both Walker and Trips get caught out of position on occasion but walks pace gets him out of trouble most times.

Toss up between them. They each have great qualities that the other doesn’t have. Felt that way when they were both Spurs players, and feel that way now.

Is he our first choice right back though? Do we have one? Aurier is younger and new to the premiership but we are giving him plenty of games.

I think Trippier is an unbelievable crosser, but pace and stamina are so important both to the attacking and defensive side of what is needed in his position, especially under Poch.

Walker also very strong, it's nigh on impossible attacking someone so fast and so powerful. Which is why he was such a great defender despite lacking serious football IQ.
