Dortmund will not sell thier star man unless a huge team came in with a huge offer.

Very unrealistic imo

Dortmund look likely to be going out the CL and are struggling in the league so come January they may not have a lot to play for and he could be open to leave.

They're 3rd, 2 points off 2nd. He's one of the most sought after teenagers in Europe. They would want a ridiculous fee for him.

His contract has a clause, and expires early 2020.
The clause is realistic. That does not mean he will end up here, but we are seriously keen.

General insight into Zaha deal. Had we been convinced he really wanted to come we would go the extra mile. He did not want more than Kane. He just kept ‘urming & arming’ (Ignore spelling). We then moved on. We are eyeing options, and very keen on That Dortmund USA born’ winger. That could happen, even if bigger clubs with fatter cheque books come in. That is not to say it will happen as Sess of Fulham is ‘almost a banker’. Ross Barkley, we all know about. As Trix stated, would be amazed if we signed anyone else aside from him in January. UNLESS , one of the two other names I have mentioned becomes available.

Lamela is in a very, very thin rope! He has been FIT for ages.

Regarding him. I saw a brief bit of the Fulham Wolves game Friday night and my god the lad is huge for a player his age. He didn't do anything special in the bit I saw (which admittedly wasnt lots) but he's definitely going to be a physical beast of a player, if he isn't already.

He ticks so many of the boxes we go for in a player. I don't think we should forget we spent over £40 million on a centre back in Sanchez, who also ticks a lot of the same boxes.

If Pulisic is one we want there I could see us going for him in the summer. I mean, if we are willing to spend that much on a centre back then we'd do the same for an attacker even if it is more, surely?

A few optimistic ratings flying about. You'd think that more than ever our fans would be feeling super confident about us getting near enough any target that we would go after, even despite our past of missing out at times.

The club has NEVER been better thought of on the world stage and with Poch continuing to show his quality as one of the best coaches in the game, we are a seriously attractive propostion for ANY player in world football.

I know, I know, finances etc but as was mentioned back in the summer, the money is apparently there if we want to spend it.

Barkley in January seems a given.

Only speculation should be about a summer signing - revisit Sancho and Sessegnon, seriously consider Pulisic and Martins.

Over the next two transfer windows -

OUT - Sissoko, N'Koudou, Janssen, (Decisions to be made on Lamela, Rose and Llorente at end of season )

IN - Barkley, Sessegnon, Pulisic or similar.

The thing is with no outs of 1st teamers I think we need 2 or max 3 for pretty much a complete squad. We also still have quite a bit of dead wood to flog.janssen Nkoudou Onomah ? Lamela ? Sissoko ? Ccv ? Are all possible sales.I reckon we will bring in £60m ish in dead wood.So could afford to go big on x2 real quality buys.

At one time all were wanted by Spurs but all were also priced out of Spurs' budget. 4 bullets dodged there.

Incorrect. These were all amazing players and sure fire hits who that tight **** Levy should have given the clubs a blank cheque for... (Spurs Community posters, 2012-16).

Swings and roundabouts, the same process has seen us miss out on PEA and Eden Hazard, to name just two superstars who instantly come to mind. Probably most relevantly in the summer of 2016 our wage cap saw us buy Sissoko instead of Mane, a decision that may well have cost us the title.
