id say three personally, can't see them getting more than a draw from the first 3, and a good kicking from the last 3.

yeah but on the off chance there is a god I'd hoped he'd bless them with 3 pts from Man City :D

A large part of the problem at West Ham was the fact that Bilic clearly wasn't going to be offered a new contract and so the players felt they didn't really need to impress him as he wasn't going to around to have a say in who would stay and who would leave post season. We've seen similar issues at various clubs over the years, and even Wenger admitted that the uncertainty over his future had a negative effect on the Arsenal team last season. You've got to really hand it to the West Ham owners in resolving that particular issue by appointing a temporary manager who will only be there until the end of the season. The players must be invigorated by such an appointment.

Pretty much what they've done at West Ham, made load of promises and didn't come through with any of them.
Theres a lot of parallels with West Ham in that their plan all along was to make a bucket full of cash by moving them into a new ground that they wouldn't own....when they were unable to make it happen they sold up...they wouldn't have gone near West Ham if the OS wasn't on the horizon, this was their plan all along.

They are absolutely scum, they've saddled the club with debt from Sullivan that he's making them pay interest on, he's even made the fans use a premium rate phone line to buy tickets...he owns the company that handles the calls.

Ok thanks, I thought it was something along those lines but wasn't sure. I knew the West Ham bit, it's always been pretty obvious that that's been their intention.

The phone line bit is why I rated it funny btw.

There's a list of stuff they've done like the phone line bit on Kumb somewhere, thats the one that I could remember off the top of my head.
They've also remortgaged their training ground and all their club shops.
They have a ticket exchange where if you can't go to a game you can sell your season ticket, but you dont get money, you get e-money, that you can only spend on more tickets or merchandise from their shop.

Its understandable that the fans are verging on mutiny, and their owners just dont help themselves really, Brady's already said things like 'West Ham have no culture'.:ROFLMAO: and she also said the east end used to be full of racists or something similar.
If their fans and owners weren't so dislikable you might feel bad for them, but in reality its pretty damn funny.

Yeah I agree.

I had a spare ten minutes earlier so had a scan through the Olympic Stadium bit of KUMB. So many of their fans didn't want the stadium its quite funny and those that did only seem to because they perceived themselves to have "beaten" us to it.

Also because they believed their chairman's bulllshit about having that stadium would make them able to push on to the #nextlevel

David Sullivan bigs up David Moyes in the Sun with the following quote

“Leon Osman played for him and said he was the best manager he worked for. That gives me even more confidence in him."

Impressive.

So how many managers did Leon Osman play under in the Premiership? Ten? Twelve? Fifteen?

Err, two.

And the other one was Roberto Martinez.

:ROFLMAO:

Rumours are that Moyes in on £10kpw, although we'd all love to be earning that, how is he supposed to assert authority and discipline on players in his squad that are earning up to ten times that?

The rumoured seven figured bonus to keep them up would add a minimum of 35k a week considering the number of weeks left of the season, though.

That's only if the players decide to start putting in a shift and getting some results.
Am I right in thinking he had a bit of a tiff with Chicarito when at Utd?
I suppose they could always get Anichebe on loan in January.

His press conference was seemingly just talking about himself and how wonderful he is and how all his recent troubles can be explained away. Very little about West Ham other than when he belatedly remembered them from time to time, their fans must have loved that

It’s West Ham so, unlike everyone else, they count the number after the decimal point too.

Just been reading that on the bbc and I nearly p!55ed myself laughing!
Take note of today’s date and this jem below:
"It is good for West Ham, they are getting a good manager," said Moyes.
This season keeps getting better!
