Pretty good half from England. Trippier, Dier, Loftus-Cheek and Pickford have all been excellent. The rest have been good.

I just don't see what Livermore brings to the team that Winks doesn't.

Winks is injured.

Without the ball England are awful. Why can’t England teams press. It’s like watching a Pullis team. Worse. Without the ball it’s just sink back and wait for them to give back the ball.

England can’t press and win the ball higher than their own 20 yard line.

Ray Wilkins on Talksport this week said Loftus Cheek is just as good as Dele Alli, he just hasn't been given enough time on the pitch at Chelsea to show it
TBF, before Alli moved to us, RLC was considered a much better player and performed a lot better for the England youth teams (They played in the same team together), so there is a good chance RLC would be the better player of the two had he played the same number of games, which is probably what Wilkins meant. Alli is the better player currently though.

Abraham did alright, but doesn't like quite ready for this level yet. Maybe in six or nine months time....

Don’t understand why Southgate would pick Livermore over Carroll in a format (CM3) like this, would give England a much more metronomic and adventurous presence in that midfield.

Pickford
Walker dier stones jones rose
Loftus-cheek winks dele
Rashford Kane

That team would be perfect to play on the counter attack similar to us vs lpool and Madrid + good options off the bench like Barkley, vardy, sterling and lallana
