Just ironic that when it was probably best to keep quiet ,with a smirk on his face he say yeah he will be fine.

Rather Wenger and his defenders have a week and a half to think about Kane coming at them after getting a much deserved rest.

Why on earth has Poch gone on record saying Kane will be fit for Arsenal? Why not just keep quiet about it especially as the England games haven't been played yet.

I find it quite refreshing that Poch is prepared to put his cards on the table. It's like saying 'this is what we've got and we're ready to deal with it'. I'd rather he was like that than pissing about with the mind games like Mourinho and Ferguson used to do.

Southgate said in a press conference that they had him scanned and would of been a risk to play him, and that there was a good chance he might be ready for the LD

All these moanng arsenal bitches on twitter should take note of this that the England manager has scanned proof tha he wouldn’t have been fit for the internationals.

Don’t you mean his midfielders as he seems to like sticking them in defence thesedays :p:p

Know who've won titles and Champions Leagues? Mourinho and Ferguson.

Not saying that they won them purely on mind games, but think Poch should keep his cards a little closer to his chest on this one.

In other news, Vertonghen is out of the Belgium friendly tomorrow against Mexico, although he's not returned to London and is still in the squad. Says he may play Tuesday and therefore is still hopefully in contention for Arsenal next weekend.

Was the stuff about Wanyama potentially being out for the season untrue? Or is that still a possibility?

Great news if he’s back sooner than expected, but didn’t JJ confirm he’ll be a long term absentee?

Not sure why everyone thinks he’ll be back soon. He’s still doing gym work like he’s been doing for months.

He was doing gym work I think I saw him skipping mid September.Something must have then happened as in a set back, but obviously he has got over it.You certainly wouldn’t be doing weighted lunges if you had any kind of serious knee injury.

Just because JJ (or any other ITK) says something doesn’t mean it’s 100% nailed on.

You can never tell with injuries though, some heal real quick whilst others don't so we don't know whether Wanyama's injury was initially diagnosed as long term but is on the way to recovery quicker than expected.
