In this week's corresponding fixtures last season (WBA (H), Leicester (A) and Watford (A)) Kane scored 9 goals.

1 against WBA on Saturday, only the 8 to make up from Leicester and Watford...

I am not expecting to see scintillating attacking football tonight. In fact what I hope to see is us getting back to being hard to play against. we need to knuckle down, make sure we win somehow and rebuild. Last season we took 59pts out of the last 69 (23 games). If we can start from here we have a chance to get into the top 2 or 3 as there are still 75pts to play for. But we need to go back to basics of hard work from the first whistle to the last

Please tell me this isn't because of Spurs?

No mate, I suffer from depression, I have anxiety (when I go out, meet new people etc), bipolar, Impulse control and addiction disorder, antisocial personality disorder. But Spurs do make me happier/depressed but it isn’t why I suffer from all these things.

We simply must win these next 2 games

This. We've already dropped too many points to poor sides so we need to start putting together a string of results. We've got Leicester, Watford, Stoke and Brighton as our next 4 PL fixtures and I reckon we could really do with getting at least 10pts from those. Any less and I really start to worry about our top 4 chances.

One better than last season please, 0-6. Lamela to get one off the bench. Kane to get the other five and wave his willy at the Leicester fans in celebration while they carry on singing 'you're just a shit Jamie Vardy'

As I wrote on another thread yesterday, we have the same number of points as we had after the same number of matches last season, we have one point fewer than we got last season from the same fixtures and we are in the same position in the table as we were last season at this stage. Our goal difference is +2 compared to the same stage of last season.

The only difference is that Man City have been streaking off with the league, so we are 13 points behind the leaders instead of 7.

We've looked so poor recently, I don't have that usual anticipation and excitement for the game.

We were fucking terrible against that Spanish side and don't even get me started on our performance against Ze Germans....

God forbid on this forum of we don't play like Barcelona week in week out.

I hear you could be on the bench tonight though, so perhaps things are taking a turn for the better...
In any case you certainly have all the qualities to fit right in on here, so welcome.

What's going on with City doesn't matter because we're not in a position to be competing for titles this year. I don't have the exact statistics but it feels to me like the top 6 generally are more closely matched this year and it will be harder for us to finish in the top 4. Yes you have a run-away leader at the top, but it's extremely close between the other 5 and only 3 places in the CL to fight for

Either way, what we did last year is irrelevant. As things stand this year, we look like we're going to be fighting it out for a top 4 finish
