Turkeys have their heads turned before Christmas, about 360 degrees. The whole team bar Sissoko has had it's head turned eh? Before Christmas?
We're doomed.

Well, I wonder if letting Rose get away with it has made players lose a little respect for him.Very disheartening result. We seem to be regressing of late and Mauricio appears not to have an idea how to stop the rot. Of course as fans we always want the team to win but against WBA and Leicester our defense has looked lethargic and our front line are missing too many chances. I wonder if a) the Danny Rose saga is affecting the players morale b)
That's a few years ago isn't it?
Yeah after we lost something like 4 away games on the trot under Tactics Tim.
We will be lucky to finish in the top 6 at this rate.
We are now very poor defensively, we concede in most matches.
We are also very poor as an attacking side, we rarely score more than one goal.
These things together mean we will win very few matches.
A hallmark of Spurs teams over the past two years is that we played with an incredible intensity and tempo, the Bournemouth, Utd, Palace, Arsenal, West Brom and Leicester games have all been very similar in the sense that we play with almost 0 intensity and let the opposition set the pace of the game, we don't press and are very easy to get behind and score against if the opposition tries to.
Part of the reason is that I think most or indeed all of our main players have had their heads turned. We let Kyle Walker go to City, he will walk the PL earning triple the money, our other players see this and (rightly) want that too.
Danny Rose was 100% right with everything we said at in the summer and the failure to heed his warning is coming home to roost. Walker, Rose, Dier and Alli are all friends, they will know what he is getting paid and they also know they won't get that at Spurs and because of that their heads have gone and their form has nose-dived. Eriksen too now looks disinterested.
I think Poch has lost control of this group of players, we will struggle in the league for the rest of the season and all of those listed, along with Eriksen and Toby will move on in the summer.
If we are lucky we will keep Poch, Kane, Jan and Hugo and have to rebuild again in the summer.
Being honest I am not sure I can really be bothered to watch another cycle that is set up to fail as we never invest when we are on the crest of a wave.
I really, really hope I'm wrong.
At the time I wasn't bothered by it but now I just find it cringeworthy.
I think he may have to go to a flat back four, but I think that Dier needs to be dropped. I'm tempted to not rotate the fullbacks every game, because both Aurier and Rose need minutes. It may explain why they both improved in the second halves of their last two games. Then again, it would seem that it would be rewarding Rose for kicking off. People get annoyed with Sissoko, but he's not a natural goal scorer and tried to steady himself, thus allowing Schmeichel time to get set. I also thought that Lloris made the wrong move to come out towards Vardy; he seems leaden footed of late.Gone to shite since Tobes got injured.
Don't mind back 3, but want to see foyth get a shot in it instead of dier.I think he may have to go to a flat back four, but I think that Dier needs to be dropped. I kinda love it, think it's hilarious. Tim Time was a dark period and what better way to get through it than self-deprecating humour?
My favourite was when we were losing 4-0 at Anfield and they did the "Let's pretend we scored a goal" celebration, absolutely love that one:
Poch is holding him back, because he doesn't think he's ready for the PL. I agree with you, though. Diet's distribution is appalling at the moment.Don't mind back 3, but want to see foyth get a shot in it instead of dier.

Not saying you're wrong but what, exactly, have you seen of Foyth that makes you pick him in your side every week? He's only played a League Cup game hasn't he?
Because he's clearly beyond his years; a natural footballer; would have mouse next to him and 3 CB's behind him; has the full passing package - good vision, great long piercing passes on the ground, accurate long balls - is fearless, composed, fast and would give Matic a problem he needs to have.
I wouldn't have a problem putting him there; I think he'd deal with the occasion.
