Anyone else watched Notorious yet?
Very good insight into Connor, going back to the start of his career.
I never liked him before, but he has won me around...

Is he bigger than the UFC now? I've often asked myself that question and never really come up with a decent answer. He's the greatest trash talker in UFC history and he can make any fight he likes happen as he's the one so many fighters want to fight because of the incredible revenue all his fights generate these days.

Is he bigger than the UFC? I'd always be inclined to say no to a question like that about anyone. I mean, nobody is bigger than the sport they are part of, right...?

Hmm.

It's a good question, but he's definitely single-handedly changed the landscape of the UFC and that's an accomplishment in itself. Thing is the fighters have seen what's he's done with the money he's made and they want to replicate it any way they can. You see how dead set Tony Ferguson is on fighting Connor, he knows that's the money shot right there.

Health issues according to his statement.
Whittaker v Rockhold for the belt in February.

Wow. I bet Bisping is pig sick about that too. GSP comes back out of nowhere after four years out of the Octagon, chokes Bisping out, takes his belt off him and then announces his retirement again.

If Rockholt decides to take Whittaker seriously, this could be an absolute classic. Both men on top form are absolute animals (but I would take Whittaker. Just.)

Khabib's performance last night was just brilliant he outstriked the striker. He can take it as well. He got kicked the head and didn't flinch.

Yes, I was very impressed with his demolition of Barboza, a fighter I've always thought to be a beast. I'd love to see him (Khabib) fight McGregor, but who knows what he's doing these days?

25-0. Can't argue with that. Is that the greatest win streak currently in the UFC?

Yeah probably, I still think Ferguson has a better resume. Those are the two best lightweights and Connor doesn't want either of them. He should either be stripped of the title or made to fight Ferguson in March. There is a rumour that Connor wants to fight in the summer, thats just ridiculous.

Last I heard, Connor's people were trying to get a fight (boxing) with Manny Paquiao on for later this year.

I heard about that, they are looking at an April date. Dana can't allow that fight. They can't let him hold up the division like that.

Neither can they afford to strip him of his belt. He's worth far too much to the sport. It's a tough one.

Dana is too far up Connor's arse. I'm not a connor hater but two years since his last fight is too long. Yes he was right to take the fighr against Mayweather but now it's time to get back to the bread and butter. He doesn't want to do it, because when he knows he will get mauled by Khabib or smashed by Ferguson. Then that will be the end of the UFC gravey train.

He will be stripped of the title if he doesn't set a date in the next couple of months. It may seem like the UFC wouldn't dare to do it on the surface, but if there is no choice, then there is no choice - the division needs to move on and will do so. I personally think that Khabib would destroy Macgregor. Connor has a debatable bottom game and likewise with his stamina. Khabib is a nightmare for him. Tony v Connor is a closer match as Tony is wild and will be willing to try and trade for longer periods which gives Conner a better chance of a TKO/KO.

Khabib v Tony is possibly the most interesting fight with Tony's very active bottom game making it interesting to see what would happen when Khabib takes it down. I think Khabib wins here as well though.

The very best we could hope for is for Connor to sign on for a fight with Ferguson for the first half of this year with Khabib facing the winner. Really, the next fight involving either belt HAS to be title v interim to get back an indisputed champion. If Connor doesn't answer the bell then simply strip his title and book Ferguson v Nurmogomedov

Ngannou got absolutely humiliated. Stipe just toyed with him for 5 rounds. Ngannou is EXHAUSTED. Credit to him for lasting all 5 but if Stipe wanted, he could have ended that in the 2nd round. Instead, he just toyed with him. Most likely by design. Miocic is a baaaaaaaad man.

Someone please buy ngannou a treadmill

Great example of a great technical fighter annihilating a guy who's all about power.

Once Stipe got through that first round the fight was pretty much done.

Fuck Ngannou too. That ****'s a Woolwich fan.
