the only clip SBS (Aus.) is showing to talk about Van Dijk is him scoring a header vs Spurs. So, he's a defender first and foremost, meaning goals are a bonus... this must be the only one.. and later in the game he gets beaten at the near post by Dele Alli who scores, and Spurs go on to win 4-1. Great example!

I'm assuming Naby Keita is earmarked for that midfield, but that means adjusting the midfield to fit him in while keeping Mane, Salah, Firmino and Henderson, Milner, Can, and maybe (but probably not) Coutinho in the picture. Suddenly it's very crowded and, for now, a bit lop sided. And you wouldn't put much faith in Klopp being able to work it out. The defence is still a shambles. Both goalies are awful.
