For my own part, probably not a lot, but this is what I do know.

1) They are Italian.

2) They are currently lying second in Serie 'A'

3) They are full of very good players who can hurt us (Chiellini, Dybala,Higuain, Mandzukic, Khedira etc)

4) Everything that gets launched into their are gets defended very well by Chiellini, so they don't concede many goals.

5) They are all seasoned campaigners at the very top level

6) They adopt a high pressure, pressing game and they don't give the ball away very often

I wonder what they know about us.

Turin has great night life & probably the higest concentration of super hot women I’ve ever seen

Not that that will be of any relevance to most of you peasants ...

Buffon has compared Harry Kane to Batistuta and Ronaldo as one of the world’s greatest strikers.

My older brother is a Juventus fan so I watch almost every game. I’m going to make some points

Mandzukic will be their key player against us. He always lurks on the back post on crosses and that’s how he scores his goals/creates chances. If we start Trippier he would have big troubles marking Mandzukic on the penalty are.

When they’re defending they kill spaces. Khedira is a master of killing spaces in midfield and Pjanic and probably Matuidi will help with that

Pjanic is a set piece specialist. It would be suicide if we’re giving away free kicks just outside the penalty area. Their corners are very dangerous too, Chiellini and Benatia are very strong in the air. They usually put the ball centrally in corners.

They play 4-2-3-1 isch on CL. Their starting eleven will probably be:

Buffon

De Sciglio/Barzagli (sometimes even Cuadrado) Benatia Chiellini Sandro

Khedira Pjanic

Cuadrado Dybala Mandzukic

Higuain

Cuadrado is very fast and if he and Douglas Costa are on the pitch at the same time we need to be careful for counter attacks.

Since the first game is at home for them they will probably make sure they don’t concede which means that they won’t be very attacking. They will live on counter attacks and set pieces. Their fans will make a very good atmosphere.

Allegri is a manager that can be boring most of the times but he’s very careful, lives for details. He will make sure Juventus doesn’t make silly mistakes in a big game like this. He usually make defensive substitutions.

We can’t underestimate Juventus, remember that they are the runners up in the CL.

I think it’s 51-49 % chance against us that we will go through. We need to be clinical when we get our chances because we won’t get that much. I think players like Aurier and Dembele/Winks will be important for us. We need a player that can dribble in midfield. I’m optimistic that we can go through but if we didn’t I wouldn’t be mad if we gave our all

J J the Zebra is a mascot

Their own wiki page even states they are also known as The Old Lady. (y)

I will however concede, a few might call them Le Zebres :(

They usually start with 11 players.

What I think we can expect, is a team that will deploy all those dirty tricks in the book and then some. And what I think, is that we should be prepared to know how to balance the edge with responding with dirty trick, but not get caught out. They will try to induce a red card situation.
I also think we need to isolate individual players and put extra pressure on them, because in an assumed starting 11, there are some players that can be stressed into making grave mistakes (Matuidi, Mandzukic, Lichtsteiner anybody?).

Opponents often call them Rubentus, from Italian for stealing. That's playing on them stealing a win, possible corruption in the past and other thieving stuff.

Juventus are also known as the Hunchbacks (i Gobbi). This is because they wore an ill-fitting shirt in 1956 which billowed and made them look like hunchbacks. It was then used as an insult by other fans against the Juve fan base, who were alleged to be hunched because they spent their working weeks bending over to make Fiats in Agnelli's factories.

Hunchbacks are also perceived as a lucky omen in Italy, and Juventus are renowned to be a 'lucky' team (in much the same way as Manchester United were 'lucky' during Fergie's time). Indeed, some have stretched the hunchback theme further and say Juventus are hunchbacks because they're bent double from the weight of all the championships they've stolen over the years.

The Florentines are particularly bitter about the 1982 title when they had a valid goal chalked off and Juventus won with a penalty to seal the title. "Meglio secondi che ladri" as the Florentines say. Better to be second than thieves. You can even buy t-shirts in Florence that say "Thank God I'm not a hunchback".

What has this to do with our game? Probably nothing. But don't be surprised if Juventus are 'lucky' and a dodgy decision goes against us in one or both of the games.

Just a hunch.

Oh, and while I'm in the mood...
