Realise you’re joking. But poor conditions generally favour the lesser team as will most likely make it a scrappy game. And much more likely to see mistakes you otherwise wouldn’t. A Lloris flappy blunder is almost nailed on.
I guess you're right, and its not like their goalkeeper is known as "Flappyhandski" now is it?
Im getting quite used to your complete nonsense now, its pretty funny.

Remembering Flappy's time wasting antics last season at the Liberty.

if it was tuesday night, playing away in torrential wind and rain against Tony Pulis' Stoke...the weather would have been bad news for us, but this is Swansea...and with their style of play can see no advantage for them at all.

We dont know how Carvalhal will set them up to play. He was only there for like 1 day before he took charge against Watford so he wasnt going to change much for that game. He could easily set them up to defend from here on out and he probably will as there stuck in the bottom 3 trying to stave off relegation again.

Wet conditions would favour the Swans
though the Cockerels should be able to rise above it,
leaving the Swans all at sea
and the Cock rules.

It this was West Brom away the conditions would be a slight concern.

It's Swansea and they like to play on the deck, pretty triangles and all lol

Don't see any advantage for them at all because we can outscrap them no matter the conditions.

Swansea are pretty far from a possession based side these days. Maybe they'll become that way again, but this evening will very much be about trying the same thing they did at Wembley. Low block, hoping to get something from a counter attack or a set piece.

They did that under Clement who's gone now, and they're at home under a new manager. I expect them to play to an extent.

The playing style at Swansea has always been similar though. I agree they were more resolute against us at Wembley, but they've never been a real hardworking physical side.

Swansea were dire against us at Wembley yet stopped us playing. I seem to remember they had five touches in our penalty area! Surely that can't be that negative twice or that lucky. Still I think the new manager bounce effect is evident already and any win will do for us

On the flip side, someone with Kane's ability to drill shots off the surface can really profit from a wet pitch.

Speaking of which, I can't recall a striker in my lifetime* who's bettered the 'worm-burner' technique that Kane absolutely loves.

*I am only 8 days old.

SPOT ON

Reminds me a bit of fat frank. Scored so many goals because they were generally low and on target

You don’t see many Kane shots fly high wide and handsome like most people

Thinking a bit more about it,actually think the weather will favour us. We will have most of the ball and be camped around their box. I’d suggest a shot on site could be a good policy. Ball moving around and skidding off surface.

Hopefully our lads have their shooting boots on. That wind is going to create chaos for the goalies.

Tough having two games in a few days, so fingers crossed we put them to bed early - otherwise it could get pretty attritional.
