Conditions were poor however, most of our players did not really turn up tonight. Llorente's goal was a clear offside but Dele made up for it with a well taken goal. Alan Smith sounded like he was going to cry towards rthe end, bloody scum shit. COYS!!!!

Great that we won but just how on earth is Trippier deemed to be a defender ? He is less than useless against any opponent that runs at him.

But you have to question the decision to put him there in back 4 systems when you have two other options, no ? Doing it against ManC was even stupider.

Also, just want to say, Wanyama is a beast, you can tell we have missed him, he is breaking up everything in the middle of the pitch, going to make us more secure at the back and more of a threat going forward.

He looked really composed too. Like he's never been away.

Any chance we can dump Tripper for way more than he’s worth on some unsuspecting club like West Brom this month? I’ve seen enough. Just give the minutes to KWP.
I'm leaning towards giving KWP minutes now. I'm sick of seeing him getting caught out by passes behind him. I'd be more than happy to sell him and invest in other pressing areas.

I realise this may be a little harsh but it's a weakness and it's going to cost us points sooner or later.

Agree. We looked good with some slick passing until the pitch started to hold the ball up after which it seemed more luck than judgement when plying the ball on the ground

Completely agree, KWP’s performance against Newcastle is arguably better than any of Trippier’s all season. I can only assume Poch thought this game would be one of those where Trippier just hangs out on the touchline and does his Beckham tribute act.

Scrappy game in terrible weather on a terrible pitch, but a 2-0 win away from home.

The media will try to make it out as if we were lucky - and we were with Llorente's goal and Sanchez staying on the pitch. But nobody will talk about Llorente wrongly being given offside when through on goal, Alli getting shoved in the back in the box (which would have also been a red card if given), and there could have been a penalty on Son too. Think a win was a fair result on balance but it was far closer than I'd have liked. Swansea are not a good side.

Make no mistake that’s a massive result playing catch up in all that shitty weather under huge pressure. To our oppo fans that’ll feel the same as Liverpool’s last minute winner against Burnley did to us. Coyfs, back in the mix
