Completely agree, KWP’s performance against Newcastle is arguably better than any of Trippier’s all season. I can only assume Poch thought this game would be one of those where Trippier just hangs out on the touchline and does his Beckham tribute act.

David or Victoria?

I expect to see Dembele and Wanyama starting together in CM on Thursday. I reckon Alli and Eriksen will be shattered - both put a hell of a lot into tonight's game - will be surprised to see either start against West Ham.

Carvalhal obviously didn't shout loud enough at half time.

Good result. Onto Thursday now.

Probably our 2 fittest players will be fine.

How did we not beat them at home? KWP has to start over trippier now, I'd sell him. Way too often a ball is played behind him into the channel and he doesn't know how to beat a man. Useless against fast players and teams that sit back

I'm leaning towards giving KWP minutes now. I'm sick of seeing him getting caught out by passes behind him. I'd be more than happy to sell him and invest in other pressing areas.

I realise this may be a little harsh but it's a weakness and it's going to cost us points sooner or later.

Think trip is useful as a wing back against certain opponents still.
But definitely not a first choice, if we could upgrade that would be sweet. Not sure KWP is ready to take the huge responsibility just yet

This Sky commentary is so rubbish “all the big decisions went Spurs way”, yes except for the offside when clean through that wasn’t and 2 penalties, yes apart from that we got all the big decisions.

LOL

Dunno why any of you let the talking heads bother you with their inane shite babble after a match like that, shows you how far we've come tbh.

That was painful viewing until alli scores but we'll done to the lads for grinding out a tough win against a tenacious team.

Trippier is such a bad defender.

He must be a right midfielder rather than a defender.

He's clueless in defence. Doesn't even know where to stand

I like their manager. Actually wants to talk about the game in his post match interview rather than the officiating. I bet sky are hating it.

I agree with just handing the job to KWP. The only problem with that is Trippier for some reason has fooled people around the league into believing he’s actually a good player. He has value. He gets benched that value diminishes. The solution is to sell him now when his value is at an absolute peak.
