I expect to see Dembele and Wanyama starting together in CM on Thursday. I reckon Alli and Eriksen will be shattered - both put a hell of a lot into tonight's game - will be surprised to see either start against West Ham.

Is Dembele fit?

This Sky commentary is so rubbish “all the big decisions went Spurs way”, yes except for the offside when clean through that wasn’t and 2 penalties, yes apart from that we got all the big decisions.

The challenge on Lamela was pretty dangerous too I thought but ohwell, let them eat salt

Serious question, why do Sky continually put that biased c**t Alan Smith on commentary for Tottenham games?
It’s just to wind us up surely.
The Sky pundits are so clearly biased. All about Swansea not getting decisions.
Wonder if they’ll talk about the Dele or Son clear penalties?

Still a Trippier fan in some way, but what got me was his constant gesturing to others after his passes, pointing towards elsewhere and everywhere instructing others where to pass.. So annoying. Not that his passes were great anyway, they were pressure-inviting back passes in fact.

LOL

Dunno why any of you let the talking heads bother you with their inane shite babble after a match like that
Exactly.

But it's because pundits are expected to say nothing but stuff that is, or can be taken to be, positive toward Spurs. They are also expected to be so positive and enthusiastic that they get massive lob ons which they get out and jerk themselves off in a frenzy of pro Spurs sentiment ending with a massive money shot straight at the camera, with the odd spot flying off at a tangent to land on fat tits natalie's face.......

Anything less and the pundit is a biased **** :D

Anyone bored of me going on about it? Welcome to my world. Calling pundits sour is the biggest fucking case of potkettleitus I've ever seen, people call them out for coming out with a supposed load of bollocks but have no trouble talking shit themselves on a very VERY regular basis.

Pundits sometimes say stuff we don't agree with. Live with it like a grown up.

I thought we were poor overall - put mainly because the conditions really affected us badly, we couldn't seem to play the ball to feet properly even when we were dominating, I think the conditions evened it up.

Swansea had a number of very good chances and on another day they could and perhaps should have gotten something out of the game (although equally we should have put the game to bed in the first half). In fact I was watching the bulk of the second half through my hands almost waiting for Swansea to equalise.

A much needed 3 points, a painful watch.

Trippier is a very poor player, he is never in position and even the most mediocre players seem to get behind him very easily.

I though Vertonghen was perfect again and Wanyama did quite well when he came on.

All our flair players struggled with the pitch.

After an energy sapping game, hope the boys have sufficient rest and are fresh for the Hammers game.

Think trip is useful as a wing back against certain opponents still.
But definitely not a first choice, if we could upgrade that would be sweet. Not sure KWP is ready to take the huge responsibility just yet[/QUOT

He is shit as a wingback, as he never gets beyond opposing defence, never takes his man on and defaults to playing the ball square or backwards.
