It's bad enough that we're playing two days after today's game, but we'll need to pick the lineup with the NEXT game in mind as we have Everton two days later than that one. I think we'll beat West Ham as they have the same problem as us having played a tight game tonight that went down to the wire (and they have fewer good players they can rotate with), but Everton will be fresh. They'll have had almost a full week's rest from their last game by the time they play us, whereas we'll have played twice during that week.

Three games in five days. THREE GAMES IN FIVE DAYS!!!

Good result tonight but I just cannot see us winning all three.
We've got Wimbledon after West Ham - not Everton

erm... we don't play Everton until the 13th. MK Dons will be our match this weekend, pretty sure it will be a full reserve side.

Lloris

Aurier Sanchez Vertonghen KWP

Dier Winks

Lamela Eriksen Alli

Kane
Have to ease Wanyama back so another cameo role or a start against Wimbledon on the weekend beckons. A lot depends on the recovery of certain players but almost certainly Aurier will come in for Trippier and if Rose is crocked then i'd give KWP a crack in place of Davies.

Eriksen dele Son are probably our 3 fittest players I’d expect them all to start. Fortunately West Ham had a very tough game. They have 5 or 6 injuries. We are younger and fitter we have the advantages imo.

What worries me about whu is they are a big team and that’s something we struggle with.

Everyone suggesting we start with Wanyama, yet Poch got slated afterwards for choosing him in the Chelsea match in which he got injured after just returning from injury

Think people are making too much of the short turnaround. De Bryne nearly got his leg broke 48hrs ago yet played 80mins tonight. We've had a week off before tonight, they should all be fine to start in 48hrs then rest them for 8 days.

Wanyama was great when he came on but that doesn't mean Poch will start him. He'll be eased back in, Poch will want more minutes built up before starting, particularly being a Derby as well. Would say he'll start in the Cup game.

Anyway, this is the team I'd play, and the one I think Poch will as well:

Assuming Dembele is out:

Lloris

Aurier
Sanchez
Vertonghen
Davies

Dier
Sissoko

Eriksen
Dele
Son

Kane

:mad: As someone who liked Wimbledon back in the 90’s, take that back right now!
My mistake, Wimbledon. Apologies!

Though I fucking hated Wimbledon, one of those shitty teams who always managed to get a win against us regardless of size of club, like West Ham, Coventry and (a bit later) Bolton. Also hated them for the hatchet job they did on Ginola in the run of 5 games against them in the space of 1 month early 1999. Delighted when they got relegated a year later, and one of my most cherished memories is being in full attendance to see Klinsmann put four past them at Selhurst Park in 1998.

Love em or hate em, what happened to that club is everything that’s wrong with football and a complete disgrace.

I'm talking about match fitness mate, not ability. He needs to work his way back
He was stand-out amongst players who have been fit all season, I'm pretty sure Poch even said he could start against West Ham.
