Not that i thought they were really in the shit, but no longer need to worry about relegation.
They are only a couple of places below us now.
We need a win today to keep a buffer between us and midtable.

We need what Everton have done and that is a unbeaten run for a while our form has been a bit stop start.

I don't see the problem?

Is that normal for a council? Presumably it means Everton, who are already facing questions about their ownership and finances, will be able to borrow below the market rate and it'll affect the public purse at least in the short term. May have read it wrong.

The Chelsea/Barkley thing is largely irrelevant but was an odd move from a city mayor too.

I know we thrashed them today, and in the second half they never stood a chance, but there is definitely some talent there.

Holgate, Kenny and Calvert-Lewin need to keep getting game time because there are definitely big talents there, and I was quite impressed with Tosun, he showed some quality in a really difficult game for any lone striker.

They couldn't have done a worse job in the summer market if they'd tried though.

Top four of the Championship?

I'm sure I'm not the first person to make that joke in 29 pages, but it was timely.

Check their stats: Since 22nd December 2017 they've scored 1 goal and have had just 4 shots on target in 450mins (5 games) of football.

They've spent almost 250 million since the summer of 2016. Utterly horrific mismanagement going on at that club.

Might be the worst team I've seen us play this season taking into account both games. Crazy to think in Poch's first season they finished comfortably above us and had a team with Lukaku, Deulofeu, Barkley, Stones etc.. back then Baines, Coleman and Mirallas looked quality as well. Not even 5 years on and I don't think they have any top-tier players to speak of. Shows what bad management from top to bottom can do.

That wasn't Poch's first season, they finished above us in the AVB/Sherwood season.

Holgate was the better of those three, despite showing some naivety.

I wasn't that impressed with Tosun. Some early hustle and bustle where he was more of a pest than a threat but after that Everton were pinned back and dominated. It was a tough job and in other games (with a different set up) he could be useful for them. He could be the guy forcing mistakes and setting up chances for Rooney/Sigurdsson - if they are closer to him because yesterday there was a big gap between him and midfield. Mostly because Spurs didn't let them out very often and it could have easily been 5 or 6. Lloris could have sat down and read a book for most of the game.

Yet the media and other fans still use our Bale window as the prime example of wasting money.
