Hmm, he getting a reward of improved terms although he hasn’t had a great year thus far.

But I guess this is football nowadays!

I wish they would sort out Toby’s contract, that’s the one that got us nervous.

Wanyama and Toby’s prolonged absence through injury has cost us this season.

The season is barely half way done. Yeah, we won't win the league, but the CL and the FA Cup plus a spot on the podium are very much up for grabs.
Everyone below City could very well say that their season is done.

Injury and inconstancy has cost us big this season. That coupled with the fact that all the teams around us have improved, makes things even harder. If I was a betting man I would say that we’ll win nothing and finish fifth, but that would be very disappointing wouldn’t it!

He was brilliant in 2017, don't let a couple of down months of inconsistent form tell you otherwise ;)

Liverpool have just lost their most influential player, yet they'll finish above us?

Wish I was offered a big pay rise for doing pretty much sod all for the last few months.

You never glance at the 'goals and assists 'for this season
in the column by carpediem991 on here then
Worth a look.
But don't let the facts spoil your opinion.

Pool will fall away, as per. Arse...well, they are Arse. I'm not convinced by United. But, even IF we did finish 5th (I think we'll finish 3rd), that would still be quite impressive considering many people had us down for mid-table/relegation battle given the Wembley factor.

We don’t know how Pool will react over the last 16 games, but we’re struggling with certain player’s inconsistency and constant injuries, so they could still finish above us, who knows! Effing Arse could still finish above us! They do tend to finish the season stronger. It would help if we didn’t give up all the points to the sides around us too!

I really hope we do finish in the top four, but we’re certainly not going to do it easily. I wrote off this season because of the Wembely factor, so it’s very annoying to see us overcome that early, only to us scuppered by other factors.

We have players coming back and rediscovering form (Alli, Lamela going forward, Llorente has scored so should get easier for him, Wanyama to shore up the DM and Toby coming back in February) Whilst not entirely relaxed, obviously, I am very confident of at least a top 4 finish, and fairly confident of silverware this year.

Leave the talking to the grown ups.
