You lot are off your heads if you think that's a good thing at all. It's petty bullying, from a club run and infested with ****s to a man. They are complaining about Sevilla's ticket hike and to make it right, they're doing the exact same thing to Sevilla's fans? Do Sevilla fans dictate their ticket prices? A load of their fans were ripping the shit out of the club for the silly ticket prices, but now they've been caught in the crossfire because of this pathetic response from United.

Now Sevilla is going to subsidise its fans, making the whole thing pointless. But it's not a classy move from United, it's a **** move made by ****s. United also charged Derby County fans £45 for a Friday night FA Cup third round tie. Hilarious that they've somehow been painted as anything but scumbags in this latest bollocks

New contract for Maureen

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42711818

"Manchester United are close to reaching an agreement with manager Jose Mourinho over a new contract.

Talks have progressed well and it is now just a matter of time before Mourinho commits to remain at Old Trafford beyond the expiry of his present deal in 2019."

Not sure where this shoukd go so posted here as well.

Manchester City have said that they rejected Sanchez because it would have "impacted the financial stability of the club"

Now they are probably talking about his wage demands. In this crazy world of football I actually commend this stance. Money is no object to Manchester City. They could spend whatever They want on whoever they want.

It is a ray of sensibility that has put a little bit of my faith back in the game.

Maureen and Man U on the other hand do not really have the moral compass to realise this. I think (no I hope) that there desire to flex muscles in order to outdo City could have some quite serious repercussions moving forward. Parity in wages could produce an oversized overpaid squad with no one willing to take a drop in wages to move on.

I never thought I would say this but hatsoffto you Manchester City & Pep.

Agreed, but the knowledge that a deal that was expected to be completed by the middle of this week is still up in the air gives me hope. Perhaps the behaviour of Sanchez and his agent has even proved too much for ManU....

I so hope that you are right. But I think the arrogance of both Man U and Maureen would mean that they will pay whatever to not loose face.

That pairing is so suited, and is the epitomy of everything that is wrong with the modern game.

IMO the PR team from United did a not bad job to ruffle the feathers and irk of the scums by portraying Sanchez in this manner. Eagerness, new loyalty, heaving a sigh of relief.
