Funny...I never realised before that Sanchez was a Thunderbird.

Sanchez was woeful last night. He looks tiny as well.

Probably struggling carrying all that cash around.

Heard on the radio today someone say Manchester United are five years away from winning the title, I know what they meant or what they were trying to say but then I thought based on what? Presumably a complete change of the defensive playing staff?
Obviously the team in five years won't contain, Valencia, Smalling or Young in the back four last night nor Herrera, Mata, Matic ot Fellaini or probably Sanchez so it's quite a building job so it's certainly not developing the current side to maturity.

I so hope that you are right. But I think the arrogance of both Man U and Maureen would mean that they will pay whatever to not loose face.

That pairing is so suited, and is the epitomy of everything that is wrong with the modern game.
Yeah, it can be a problem, as Kent knows only too well:

So... I’ve just been googling ‘Milly Rock’ as I have no idea what it is and I’m only 36 but I’ve never felt so old :bag:

What’s happened to this country/planet :wideyed:

They are five years away from winning the title.... and next year they'll be six years away, the year after that seven years away, etc...:LOL::LOL:

They seem to be going the same way as Arsenal did 10 years ago, convincing themselves that they are always just one world-class player away from becoming world-beaters. All this does is paper over the obvious weaknesses in their squad and delude potential new signings into believing that they are worth their astronomic fees and wages. I'd expect most genuine United supporters would accept a couple of years out of the limelight if it was seen as the only way to build a new and balanced team, but the club's commercial sponsors would walk away in droves.

He is not wrong in what he is saying. You can never blame your own players lack of passion on the noise in the stadium .

However Home fans need to make the opposition feel intimidated. I remember the first time I went to anfield and although I hate to admit it the liveroool fans made the hair in your neck stand on end.

We created that a lot if the time at WHL. Lets hope our kop can prove to be as intimidating to opponents at NWHL.

It works both ways. Play dull football and you’ll get disinterested fans.

Jose looks like a Thunderbird puppet who failed to stand by for action and now he's propped up gathering dust in the back of a derelict studio.

The way he is so handsomely paid, one would have thought that it would be his responsibility to inspire his players to much greater heights. His inability to do so marks him as a so-so coach. He was lucky to inherit good teams when he first entered management and been able to win trophies then.

Seeing first hand why signing players on astronomical wages isn't always the smartest move. Pogba will now have his nose bent our of joint, firstly for not being the top earner and secondly because the new 'top earner' is shifted into the team at his expense. Whilst I don't expect Pogba to suddenly start sulking and cause problems for Mourinho, it does show that squad harmony can be affected, not to mention the imbalances it can cause on the pitch trying to fit them all in.
Good!
